Blind Item #4

This A list celebrity/singer who has been A list for almost three straight decades despite not having any hits in almost three decades is keeping himself young with HGH and cheating on his significant other with a 20 something woman that he says keeps him loyal to his significant other. Huh?

  1. Apparently the HGH has gone to his brain.

    3. @Freya I know, but Richie is now dating a girl who looks pretty young. Made me think of him.

    4. And it doesn't say he's married. But he has had a few hits within the last decade.

  3. I'm thinking this may be a rock star.
Gene Simmons. He had a few reality shows too.

  6. Bruce.

Biggest success was in the 80s (nearly 30 years ago) and was papped looking pretty buff on the beach.

  7. Does the US have an equivalent to George Michael? '80's to now, name recognition due to the family Bluth.
The gender of the S.O. is not specified. 3 STRAIGHT decades.

  8. Maybe wrong Michael: Stipe?

  9. Springsteen is A+ (being a national treasure and all) and has had great success in each decade since the 70's. And Patty Scialfa started off as a side piece so she knows how that game works. She'd have the Boss' nuts on a plate before she would stand for something like this.

And he won an Oscar for "Streets of Philadelphia" in 1994, so you couldn't say hasn't had a hit in nearly three decades. And in the last few years he has played the Super Bowl halftime show and been awarded a Kennedy Center Honor. And Rolling Stone named him on of the "Artists of the Decade" in 2009.

So, no. Don't think Springsteen fits.

  10. Springsteen. When was his last big hit? Born in the USA came out in the mid-80's. Winning an Oscar for a song isn't the same as having it be a hit song. Kennedy Center honors people who are past their prime. He is still A list and still very relevant, but not for anything recent.

  11. And there was a photo of him on the beach recently. Nice physique.

  12. sarah.estell - Bruce has had several hits since 2000. The following are the ones he has won a Grammy for:

The Rising, 2002: Best rock song and best rock album

    Code of Silence, 2004

    Devils and Dust,2005

Radio Nowhere, 2007 Best rock song and Best vocal performance

Girls in their Summer Clothes, 2008

We Take Care of our Own, 2012. Best rock song, best performance and best album for 'Wrecking Crew'

There are some other best albums in those years and an Oscar for the song from the Wrestler.

  13. @Lucas, Bruce does fit - by enty's logic, he hasn't had a hit in close to 3 decades. Yes, he is a great musician who tours, releases great albums, etc. but billboard single chart success, nope.

also it is known in music circles he still cheats...I've heard multiple accounts of this!

  14. Kenny Rogers. Fits in with all the horrible plastic surgery.

  15. Gene Simmons NOT cheating would be news. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/3856172/Gene-simmons-Its-not-true-Ive-slept-with-4600-women-its-4800.html

  16. Bruce's last album did really well. It had sales because Barack Obama used the first single as his campaign song.

"The album debuted at No. 1 in 16 different countries including both the US and UK charts with approximately 196,000 and 74,000 records sold, respectively"

If he means hit singles, maybe, but Bruce has released 10 number one albums.

Also, I'm from New Jersey so saying even one negative thing about Bruce around me is just not a great idea.

  17. Tara you sound like you're ready to kick some Bruce bashing ass! LOL

Sorry I thought it was Bruce too.

  18. Makes me sad I don't know ANY of Bruce's recent stuff! Damn, I must be getting old.

  19. KISS's hits were almost 40 years ago.

  20. Actually, I think this is Dr. Dre. His first album was in the late eighties, so he's got the career length and he's a big big HGH user.

Also, he's had jump offs, but always stayed married.

  24. Elton John. Haven't seen him perform since he upcycled Candle in the Wind at Princess Diana's funeral. Last known "hits" were his renditions of music composed for Disney's The Lion King in 94 (if you can consider that a hit). Maybe hooking up with a lady isn't considered "cheating" ??
