Blind Item #10
This B list actress who was on a very hit premium cable show and is beloved because of it is sick but won't talk about it. She has huge clumps of her hair that are falling out and unlike the last time this happened to her a few years ago she is having to wear a wig because it is leaving bald patches.
Carrie :(
ReplyDeleteEffects of longterm Anorexia?
ReplyDeleteTotally confused...Carrie who? Do you mean SJP? Help.
ReplyDeleteGod, I hope it's not Edie Falco.
ReplyDelete@AKM yeah, SJP, my bad.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Edie Falco...didn't she just adopt a child a few years ago?
ReplyDeleteIs it something more serious like cancer? If so, is that why she and Matthew have stayed together?
ReplyDeleteSamantha aka Kim Cattrall
ReplyDeleteYou can loose hair from stress, menopause, bad diet...it doesn't have to be the big C
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Edie Falco. :(
ReplyDeleteHope Edie Falco's breast cancer hasn't recurred. Might also be Aida Turturro, who suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Certain treatments can cause hair loss.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the nurse from er? Maura something?
ReplyDeleteIt says she was on a show. Edie Falco's still on Nurse Jackie.
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of is that woman on Weeds. But I don't think of her as beloved.
Yes, Edie is on Nurse Jackie, but she is beloved because of her role on The Sopranos. As good as Nurse Jackie is, it ain't The Sopranos.
ReplyDeleteFalco still wins awards, and her Nurse Jackie character is beloved, I believe, even the other characters on the show love her. SHe just doesn't love herself much.
ReplyDeleteThe first person I thought of when I read this was Diane Kruger, but she's been balding for years (nothing new) and I can't make "beloved" fit.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Maura Tierney with recurrence of Cancer, that would make me sad. Was she ever on premium cable?
Whenever I hear "beloved" actress from a premium cable show, I think Frances Conroy.
ReplyDeleteSJP's hair has never fallen out and isn't falling out. I have run into her many times, and not only is she far prettier in real life, she's incredibly petit. It looks natural, too. And, she is absolutely A list. I think Kim Catrell's character was beloved, but I am not sure she is. Edie and her Soprano's character are/ were beloved, but, she is still on a current hit (not that she doesn't fit). Also, she and Maura had cancer and lost their hair, but I would not describe chemo hair loss as falling out in clumps. I mean, it does fall out in clumps, but it is really more of a process of losing your hair, period. Usually when people use the phrase, "falling out in clumps," it's more about a nutritional deficiency or drug habiit, or alopecia or some illness like that. Don't you think? So, I would rule out a cancer survivor. And, also, Edie is A-list. What about someone like Drea De Matteo? Or Dexter's sister? Or, Kim...
ReplyDeleteLara Flynn Boyle has that hair problem but I think she was only on the practice on network tv but not premium cable...I got nothing else..
ReplyDeleteJulia Louis Dreyfus - just to throw it out there
ReplyDeleteCheryl Hines.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's noone from Six Feet Under.
