Amanda Bynes Brings Joy To Wig Sellers- Allowed Out Of Rehab For Outings

Wig sellers throughout the world are probably shouting in thanks that Amanda Bynes is being allowed out of rehab for outings. The actress, who is in rehab instead of a hospital is now being set free on society after three months. Amanda is allowed outside twice a week and can go to the beach or to eat or to find a pay phone and crank call Drake forcing him to cancel his concert this weekend. Amanda always has a supervisor with her who feeds her quarters and makes sure she has enough money for wig purchases.

It does kind of surprise me that the doctors at UCLA wanted her committed for a year and the rehab lest her out a couple of times a week. I wonder which treatment is better.

  3. Progress, I'm glad for her. It's not like she is unsupervised Enty. I think this is a great way to treat her illness while allowing her the ability to function. The anti-Brittney approach.

  4. That poor woman. I'd say she needs psych treatment before rehab treatment just from what I've read about her.

  5. I feel bad for her. Hate to see her made fun of....

  6. I just hope the rehab and hospital don't suck out all of her funds and she gets released and is broke.

No one in Hollywood will ever hire her again.

    Do you think so?

Hollywood loves a comeback. I could see her getting small jobs on television.

  9. Amanda's Wig is still in hiding, I think.

  10. I wish Miss Mandy's buttcheeks would come out of hiding. I bet the psych meds have plumped them things up, which lets her REALLY fill out some yoga pants. At this point Bathroom Mirror Buttcheeks would be a great way to boost her Q rating and get her ca-reer (heh)back on track.

  12. A slow, steady integration back to some kind of normalcy is a good thing.
That's the end goal, isn't it?

  15. Don't be so sarcastic about Amanda,Enty:( Save that for the Kartrashians and Leann Rimes' of this world.
I really hope Amanda can adjust to society once again, poor kid. Rooting for her.

I hope she's got a very skilled treating psychiatrist & mental health team with her best interests at heart. Get well soon. I hope people leave her alone.

  17. I hope she gets her shit together. America loves a good comeback story. If she gets back hopefully she will be able to cope with the trappings of fame, not the least of which is dealing with assholes like us on gossip sites:) Rooting for her too.

  19. Seriously Enty you can be a real douche some times. This girl has clear mental illness and you use it to taunt and ridicule her.

    FOAD.

  20. This is just a nasty, nasty post.

Hey, Enty -- I mean, of course, whoever's playing "Enty" in whatever incarnation we're getting this week -- why don't you spend some much-needed time on nami.org for once? A bit of EDUCATION and COMPASSION might do you good.

  23. I myself do not see what is so evil about asking if psychiatric treatment in a hospital would be better than going to the beach with some chemical-dependency "professionals" in their 20s with AAs from a community college. I mean, going from psychiatric care to rehab *is* a step-down in terms of quality of care.

I hope the rehab place is providing her with counselling and a strong support system. If so, I feel this is a better place for her to be in, as opposed to UCLA where she was no doubt kept confined to a small room - or bed - constantly drugged until her funds ran out.

  25. Hi ya'll! Unfortun, I'm still in hiding :(

  26. Yeah, don't be such a douche to mentally ill person. C'mon now.

  27. From a mental health clinician standpoint, it is really healthy for her to get to go out and do a few things while she is in rehab. I am sure she is not alone when she is out and about. She has both mental health issues and drug addiction and most psychiatric hospitals are not equipped to handle both. I wish her well, and hope she stays on her meds when she is finally out!

  28. UCLA would have helped her but somehow she was able to convince her mom it was a drug problem not a mental illness problem so the minute she's allowed to be on her own, she'll stop he meds and go back to being schizophrenic again. Her mother shares her dislike for reality and would rather have a druggie daughter than a mentally ill daughter. It's not going to work out well for Amanda but then the mom is kind of a nutter too.
