Today's Blind Items- Only Two Were Married
Before this actress (#1) got lucky enough to get on a very hit cable show which is not on AMC she had one other big television role in a show that is still a huge hit. Our actress quit the show because she was being harassed. Not sexually harassed because she was a willing sexual participant but harassed because her sex rival threatened the life of our actress if she didn't back off. So, our actress made a deal with the producers after threatening to take her story public and got paid for a full season of the show even though she wasn't on it any longer.
Our actress had hooked up with the star of the show (#2) who is probably a B+ list mostly television actor who has been married forever. The actor was also hooking up with another co-star who is a former B+ list mostly movie actress (#3) and now lives for the paychecks on that show.
#3 and #2 started hooking up. #3 did this because even though she is married she wanted to protect her place on the show and figured having sex with the star of the show wouldn't hurt her chances. When #1 came along who was a late addition to the show and also started hooking up with #2, that was too much for #3 to handle and started threatening #1 to back off. She also made #1's life miserable at work and tried to make #1 cry every day.
It worked and #1 pleaded with producers to let her quit.
1. JLH
ReplyDelete2. Matthew Fox
3. Neve Campbell
My kingdom for a comma.
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteI'm not completely sold on this, but it fits
ReplyDeleteSasha Alexander (formerly of NCIS, now on Rizzoli & Isles)
Mark Harmon for the star of NCIS
Lauren Holly as the former mostly movie actress
Yes!
DeleteWTF?!😳
ReplyDeleteMark Harmon isn't cheating on Pam no way! This one us difficult.
ReplyDeleteI feel as though my brain was removed & scrambled. Too much to keep track of...
ReplyDeleteThis probably has to do with Grey's Anatomy as the original show with Demosey as the B who had been married forever. I don't know the show well enough.
ReplyDeleteKept trying to make Timothy Olyphant work.

ReplyDelete"Cable" = AMC, Lifetime, TBS, TNT, Bravo, etc... and "premium cable" = HBO and Showtime right?
ReplyDeleteAlexander and Holly weren't on the show at the same time....
ReplyDeleteThat was confusing.

ReplyDeleteA RESIDENT said...
ReplyDeleteAside from "still a huge hit" I can defend my Party of 5 thesis:
1. JLH came late to the show and then left early for a short lived spinoff during the last year of the show.
2. Fox has been married since 1991.
3. Cambell was married in 1995
No clue on this one.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's Party of Five because the blind says the show is still a huge hit...what cable shows have been on a while and are still huge hits?
ReplyDeleteA wild guess (in no particular order I suppose):
ReplyDeleteLaw and Order is the show Angie Harmon and Jill Hennessey are the actresses and Chris Noth is the dick?
the show that is a hit is not a cable show
ReplyDeleteAngie and Jill did not overlap
ReplyDeleteNah you're right I'm wrong :(
ReplyDeleteI think the JLH, Fox, Campbell guess fits
ReplyDeleteI once guessed Mark Harmon as the answer to a blind (I think about a TV actor who likes to be walked on with stilettos) and another commenter, who I think had industry connections, said Harmon is such as straight arrow he doesn't even pee in the shower. That made me spit coffee all over my keyboard and I just want to share for someone else's enjoyment!
ReplyDeleteHa hahaaa! Awesome!
DeleteHa hahaaa! Awesome!
Delete2 hit shows one is on cable and one is huge on either Fox CBS NBC or ABC. Its not Party of 5. Still very difficult if not Law and Order it has to be NCIS something .....
ReplyDeleteIt can't be NCIS because Sasha was on from the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the same thing...Sasha was on NCIS long before Lauren Holly showed up.
ReplyDeleteWas Neve Campbell married while she was on Party of Five? Also, wasn't Neve a star on the show too? She was just as big or even a bigger character than Matthew Fox.
ReplyDeletethis is a show on cable, not network such as Fox and CBS, so your guesses are totally wrong. and the show is not on AMC so try again.
ReplyDeleteThat pretty much leaves a show on FX.
ReplyDeleteThe show the actress is on now is cable. The previous show is not necessarily on cable; it just says it was a hit and still is. So, how many hit shows have had a cast member arrive later and leave? Could the show still be considered a hit in syndication?
ReplyDelete#1 Jessalyn Gilsig (Vikings on History Channel)
ReplyDelete#2 Adrian Pasdar
#3 Ali Larter
Show: Heroes
The married part has to be fudged in the years for Ali Larter's case, but otherwise fits.
Wow! You guys are lazy lazy on this one! All of these guesses suck balls so far.
ReplyDeleteI know that details are fudged sometimes, but I agree that the show that is running now is “still a big hit” and is not necessarily on regular or premium cable. I think it’s a network show, but I don’t watch any of them. Contenders for network shows with married male leads, a desperate former movie actress that defends her territory and thanks the heavens for those weekly checks:
Grey’s
Criminal Minds
The Good Wife
Bones
Mentalist
Modern Family
Blue Bloods
That’s just off the top of my head and I didn’t IMDB so that list could be bullshit. The show could easily be a sitcom, I don’t think it has to be a 1 hr. drama:
Parks & Rec
Community
Raising Hope
There’s a million more but I rarely watch network TV. You viewers will need to do some sleuthing to figure out the actress who is now lucky to be on cable, made a few appearances on a network or cable show and suddenly bounced.
I think #3 is probably someone like a Clare Danes or Elizabeth Shue (they don’t fit for this) but someone at their level? Former B+ and thankful for a paycheck? Put on your thinking caps. I got nuthin’!
Confusing as all fuck. I did manage to eat nearly 1/2 a bag of licorice my P.A brought me (after she dented my car). Whoever solves this may have the remaining half of the bag.
ReplyDeleteAll righty, how about this:
ReplyDelete#1: Angie Harmon
#2: Christopher Meloni (yum)
#3: Mariska Hargitay
Angie was on SVU for six episodes the first season.
The only thing that doesn't work about this is the dates that they were all married -- 2001 for Harmon and Meloni, 2004 for Hargitay -- but I'm thinking about this too much so I'm going to stop.
For the record: like Robert DeNiro, Chris Noth only likes African-American ladies.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Grey's Anatomy, Chyler Leigh, Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo.
