Michael Douglas And Catherine Zeta Jones Are Doing The Tabloid Cover Route And I'm Not Sure Why

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones on the cover of Kneepads this week is not going to be a big seller. This is why the guy running the place is not being asked back after his contract expires. Should have changed places with that Zac Efron story to sell some copies. What I don't really understand is why even have the cover in the first place? Either CZJ or Michael Douglas' people are the sources for the story and it talks about how they are working to save their marriage but won't be spending their shared birthday today together. If the two had decided to reconcile I get a cover story. If they had decided to split I get the cover story but I don't get the working on it cover story. Neither has a movie coming out and Michael just did a whole bunch of publicity with the Emmy Awards so this is strange. Maybe it is one of them trying to save it and thinks by putting it out to the world it can be saved.
