Man And Woman Charged With Incest Even Though They Aren't Related


A 28 year old man and 21 year old woman (above) have each been charged with incest and face up to 15 years in prison. Police in West Virginia say that even though the two aren't related and are of legal age the reason they were charged is that the man is the step-father of the woman. The man married the woman's mother five years ago and she does call him father. Yeah, that's creepy but it still isn't incest. Yeah, this probably means he had the hots for her when she was in her early teens which is also creepy, but it isn't incest. The police say that definition of daughter under West Virginia law is the natural daughter of a person's husband or wife. The man charged is still married to the woman's mother. Therefore he is having sex with his daughter and can be charged with incest.
