Jaden Smith Says All Kids Should Drop Out Of School

15 year old Jaden Smith has Tweeted that all kids should drop out of school and that kids would be much smarter if they did so. This of course is coming from a kid who doesn't go to school and is a millionaire because of his parents. Apparently no one really thought much of the school his parents founded because it had to close because of bad publicity and poor attendance. It turns out no one really wants to send their kids to a school that is getting Scientology forced down their throats. Well, unless you are a Scientologist of course.

Jaden said that school is the tool to brainwash the youth. Considering he hasn't gone to school in years, is he the right person to be answering that? Speaking of brainwashing maybe he should do some digging into Scientology and what kind of ties his parents have to it. I know he is just 15 and 15 year olds hate school, but he doesn't go so why is he complaining?

He says society would be smarter if kids dropped out. How? Tell me how the world would be a better place if no one went to school. Parents would teach them to read? Great for the first generation or two but then people would forget how to read. So would kids just sit around and do nothing or would they be expected to work at a younger age? Child labor anyone?

Kids are already teetering on illiteracy as it is. This kid is talking through his sheltered, entitled arse.

  4. Easy to say when your parents are kazillionaires and have an endless number of strings they can pull to land you jobs. Please little man. Sit down and shut it.

  5. Anyone taking advice or even paying attention to this little twat isn't very smart in the first place. Why are we reading about him? He isn't a celebrity; he is just the spawn of a celebrity couple.

Imagine how much more pleasant the world would be if no person was allowed to be written about unless they actually had accomplished something. Ah, I can dream...

  6. Take away Daddy's money and make him live on the streets of Detroit. I think inside of 5 days he'll be begging to go to school.

  14. ...or drop Jaden off in a 3d-world country (take your pick) and let him see the consequences of an entire society where most people get little or no schooling!

  15. Celeb kid or not most teenagers I come across would rather stay home and play video games than have to go to school, so this isn't something new. Teenagers are idiots...it's why they don't rule the world, or become Presidents or Prime Ministers...their brains are stuck in the now and not the later.

  16. @Kels: You are a Philly girl?

Ok, so no Detroit and no Philly, how about we drop him in Chicago? Cabrini Green is no more, but there still must be bad sections w/ all the gang killings I read about.

  17. Leave Chicago out of this! -just jumping on the band wagon- ;) The south side & west side are where most of the shootings happen, although they're kind of everywhere....he wouldn't last too long on the streets, in any city, I'm sure.

  18. @Rosemary- I too thought of the third world countries, or any area where education is out of reach. He would learn real quickly how much an education is worth, it's so sad that he can't appreciate the opportunities he has

  19. Well, considering that lots of schools have a fifty percent failure rate, dropping out would probably let those kids get to their lives of crime faster and start building up a nest egg (or be buried earlier).

  20. I'd like to see Jaden in the military. A good drill sergeant would fix that smirk post-haste.

He'd be more than ready to go to school by the time he got out.

All the college professors I know say former soldiers, sailors and Marines are their best students. Focused, disciplined, and appreciative.

  21. Yes, he's a typical teen, railing against school, which, as enty pointed out, he's never gone to. Imagine his ignorance of history or geography??!! The mind boggles. He's really spouting the cos party line, because they dont like education. Educated people might say, hey this is bullshit. But what i dont understand is the parents. What notmal parent wouldnt give their right arm to have their money to send their kids to a good college???? Sometimes there is no justice.

  25. yes, this tool does need a serious beat down - in between his constant eyebrow arching

  28. Wasn't it Will who once have an interview saying his Mom/Grandma wouldn't let him use slang/swear because she was a teacher and had taught him better? Thanksgiving will be fun this year, LOL!

  29. How is it that Will and Jada will let their children remain willfully uneducated? I mean, Will got accepted into MIT, for goodness sakes. If "Parents Just Don't Understand" hadn't been such a huge hit for him and Jazzy Jeff, Will probably would be some kind of engineer by now. But now because he and his wife are millionaires, the education of their children doesn't matter? Who sucked out these people's brains?!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Fuck this entitled little douche.

And Bangagong - I was just thinking the same thing - I remember reading that he had been accepted to MIT. I would have hoped he would put more value on his kids getting an education but between this and that CO$ school, I guess not

  31. But he knows physics!111!

He reminds me of the spawn of homeschooling fundies.
