Dancing With The Stars Cast

The best part of Dancing With The Stars is when they announce the stars that re going to be on the show. After a bazillion seasons, I keep waiting for a star. Someday there will be one. This year the biggest surprise is that Elizabeth Berkley is now calling herself Elizabeth Berkley Lauren which is her way of saying please don't ask me about Showgirls. ABC in their release, talked up her experience in Showgirls as a reason why she should be considered a favorite. I would agree except it happened 20 years ago. As usual, here is the complete list with my comments.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi/Sasha Farber - Snooki could be really good, but the people who watch the show don't know her and she won't last long.

• Christina Milian/Mark Ballas - She will do well.

• Valerie Harper/Tristan MacManus - She will win. Who is not going to vote for the woman who was supposed to already be dead?

• Elizabeth Berkley Lauren/Val Chmerkovskiy- Most likely to have an affair.

• Leah Remini/Tony Dovolani- Will make finals.

• Amber Riley/Derek Hough- Glee and Derek. She will do well.

• Bil Nye/Tyne Stecklein - First week bye bye for the Science Guy.

• Brant Daugherty/Peta Murgatroyd - Army Wives and Pretty Little Liars but I don't think he will go far.

• Jack Osbourne/Cheryl Burke - He will tell his MS story week one and in all publicity. Kelly finished third.

• Bill Engvall/Emma Slater- Brings out Larry The Cable Guy as his guest.

• Keyshawn Johnson/Sharna Burgess - Top 5 because it's football season and he is on television every week.

• Corbin Bleu/Karina Smirnoff - Top three.

  2. I see JC Chasez didn't make it, although there were some rumors he was going to appear. Poor guy can't catch a break.

  3. Enties, there will never be any "stars" on DWTS because the Bravo channel is owned by NBC, not ABC.

  5. Honestly, I might watch for Valerie, Bill Nye and Elizabeth Berkley (in that order). I'd also like to support Leah Remini for getting out of CO$. Since it's only one day a week now, I might actually tune in.

  9. Elizabeth Berkeley will be alright. She'll be saved by the bell.

Bill Nye the Science Guy!!! OMFG, I'm a fangirl. I met him last month at a baseball game, and he was very nice. I think he will be around for a few weeks, because moms will know Bill Nye the Science Guy, and grandmoms will love a guy in a bowtie.

This is the best cast they have had. I recognize all but one of the names.

  11. I think Bill Nye is SEXY, always have. I'm 42. I'll bet there are plenty of us middle-aged ladies & memaws who LURVE a tall skinny brainy man. I hope he does well.

  14. Yeah, I disagree that Bill Nye will be gone the first week. Not if the Redditors have any say in it, not to mention all the other reasons other commenters have mentioned.

    How is Snooki a celebrity?

  16. What Libby said! I would vote for Bill Nye sans watching. That man is one of the reasons I "heart" science, chemistry especially.

  17. Never watched and never will. But Bill Nye definitely has my vote!

  22. DWTS oddly reminds me of the Gong Show, which I loved as a kid.

  23. DWTS has finally done it - they've finally cast someone I have to watch. Prepare to be voted for, Bill Nye!

  24. I agree Valerie will win. Because this is 'Merica and people love being against cancer. Even if she's the shittiest dancer. She has cancer guys, nothing else matters.

  25. Does this mean E.B. Lauren will not be doing an 'epileptic in the middle of a seizure while having simulated sex in a swimming pool' themed dance??

  26. Ain't no way Valerie could be the shittiest dancer. She got her show-biz start as a dancer on Broadway in the '50s! :-)

  29. Cheese factor, Tom Bergeron, sparkle, and Derek Hough's choreography. Not necessarily in that order.

  30. And for the record I do prefer SYTYCD, but it is only on for a few short months a year.
