Blind Items Revealed

April 10, 2013

This aging former A list celebrity and former A list singer (calling it singing is a stretch) and former A list reality star is now a just someone who would like another chance. Talking to waiters the way she did last week though is not going to help. When the waiter came to her table to ask if she would like anything to drink she turned to the waiter and said, "I will say this once. I don't talk directly to waiters. No offense. Just talk to my assistant please. Thanks." She always seemed so sweet on television. Kooky but sweet.

  1. BS. I don't believe this, unless her personality has changed dramatically in the last several years. I ran into her in a hotel elevator once and had a lovely chat with her. She was very sweet to this regular person.

  2. Fuck anyone with that attitude. Hate.

  3. Perhaps it's with her addiction that she acts this way? Not an excuse but addiction tends to bring out the worst in people.

I hate when people act like this...I have a cousin who acts like this and she's a nobody! Yes, cousin, you are a NObody!

  5. UHHHHH,anybody remember that Bravo reality show of hers that lasted one season.

She was bat shit out of her mind crazy, and I think that was the good edit.

    100% believe it.

  6. Baby I was wondering about addiction too. Not that she was on something but she's had documented problems in the past and maybe that's why she acted that way. I would rather someone think I'm a jerk than call the Enquirer with a story about how I was barely coherent at brunch.

  7. I would rather people think I'm on something than an asshole.

  8. Maybe she has lost he ability to speak. Or maybe she's just a diva.

  9. Sounds like some borderline agoraphobia. Someone else has to make her decisions in public so she doesn't have a panic attack.

  10. I can say that when I spoke to her she seemed shy and was very soft-spoken. Shy, but still nice.

  11. I just saw a Paula Patton movie! I kept wondering why this strange looking chick looked so.. Not familiar but eye-catching. She wasn't bad but then I just saw the original Foxy Brown. It lowered the bar for bad acting.( or would that be raised :/ )

    1. @steampunk, I thought she looked like a more robust version of Jada Pinkett Smith.

What's the problem? Lol. A person of a certain caliber wants u to speak to their assistant. Why does the waiter think that he is on the same level? When I was a waitress and once a housekeeper during the interviews the interviewer told me that the guests ( some of them) will treat me like the help. Which I was. They are careful about letting u know your place. How haughty of the waiter.

    Someone needs a wahmbulance......

  13. She's been drugged out since her American Idol days and probably long before. I am amazed she's still getting around. Didn't she hit someone with her car once?

  14. Well, she did say 'no offense."

  15. But she did talk to him sooo FAIL

  16. Haha Del. That's like "Bless their/your/her/his heart.." Down South.
Start a sentence that way and sure enough an insult is bound to follow.

"Bless his heart but Timmy is as stupid as the day is long"

  17. I hate famous people.

  18. Aye, she said thanks.
Though I stick strictly to the rule that it's better not to piss off people involved in your food preparation.

I've heard Simon Cowell thinks that all food tastes of piss.

  19. There's a reason she is alone and drying up like a grape in the sun.

  20. Perhaps she is pissed off at all the waiters who have probaly asked her lots of things before and wanted to take pics with her while she just wanted to eat.
If you are famous and want to go to a restaurant it must be normal that people harass you and not let you eat comfortably. She must have had lots of those situations along her long career.
At least she was more polite than most fans and waiters have probably been with her.
I agree with her politics. I wouldn't do it, but I accept it.

  21. Never ever be rude to the people who handle your food.

This is such a simple rule and I don't understand how someone can be so stupid that they don't follow it.

  22. I think poor Paula is more delusional than plain mean. Bless her heart. Yup, we do say that, all the time, for real.

@ice......telling the waiter to talk to an assistant isn't exactly a verbal assault. He needs tougher skin, that Guy..

  24. When someone is trying to do there job and speaking to you as one human to another and you need a go between, it's not verbal assault, it's assholery! And that bitch never could sing anyway.

A good way of judging a person's character (not to be judgy, (ha!)) is how they treat the help, people serving them etc. Utterly classless to treat anyone with anything other than complete respect and equality. Do unto others.....

  26. Yeah, I am calling BS on this too. Also, she won at least one Grammy. I don't think it is fair to slam her singing. It might not be the type of music that is popular now, but she was great at the top of her game.

  27. But...Paula, what ever happened to "Straight up, now tell ME...."

No wonder the waiter was confused.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Actually, @Iceberg, the janitor's better because he'll clean up his own shit AND everybody else's. Kudos to the people who do the work I hate! :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nope. Don't believe. Too many stories about her being so kind to fans and "people who couldn't do anything for her," as they say.

I believe her insistence that she does NOT have SUD and instead has chronic pain and the wackiness that goes along with the pain and the meds. I totally get that, as a fellow chronic pain sufferer, and if this ONE case were true, I could probably even overlook it, because it does NOT seem to be her M.O. Sorry, but I call B.S.

  30. Yeah I agree Del, she did say "no offense" and she took the trouble to explain what the waiter should expect in terms of communication. Would Xtina extend the same courtesy? I don't think so!

  31. These people are freaks.

  32. Not cool Paula. Always speak to everyone and always as if they're doing you a favor- because they are. Every record you sold or time they tuned into American Idol was money in your bank. Show a little class.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Okay, for the record, 'No offense' is bullshit. It is ALWAYS followed or proceeded by something offensive!
