Blind Items Revealed
October 21, 2012
This former A list female tweener is working on a new record. She thinks it is going to be a huge hit. No one working with her believes it at all, but they are happily taking her money every day she works on it. When she wanted to do a cover of a Henry Rollins song, it took two hours to get through one complete take because everyone was laughing so hard that she was trying to do the song.
Miley Cyrus
I dont care eho it is, its unkind to help someone make a fool of themselves. If you tell her and she ignores it, thats diff.
ReplyDelete@Auntliddy, I think the irony is that the record HAS been a huge hit. The joke is on them.
ReplyDeleteWell her album seems to be doing quite well, so this was a bit off.
ReplyDeleteShes a joke----Goodbye Hannah Montana Hello Fucky Kentucky
ReplyDeleteOr whorida Florida
DeleteThey should have known it would do ok because of the Hanna Montana thing but if she doesn't get her act together her next one won't be as lucky.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know her audience, at all. They are the anti-HMers, if anything. This is the 2nd non-HM album, anyway, not the first. The changes she's been incorporating have been going on for yrs, people that think kids stay 14, forever, are the ones shocked.
DeleteAnd aside from the album being huge in pre-sales alone, Miley can sing. And better than Henry ever could.
ReplyDeleteMiley could shit on a lot of singers out, that girl has pipes.
DeletePharrell is certainly talking about her good her new stuff is......then again, he has not been relevant in years.
ReplyDeleteYou tried it. Pharrell has ALWAYS been hot- actually, he's just as big now as he was in 2002. Daft Punk? Robin Thicke? Have you noticed that all summer...it was all Pharrell? Right down to Despicable Me 2, one of the highest geossing films of the year.
DeleteYou. Tried. It.
just reported that Anna Wintour has taken her off the cover for the next issue of Vogue as well---I dont know what the hell Vogue was thinking considering it in the first place...
ReplyDeletePharrell is too hot for Fucky Kentucky
ReplyDeletei've never in my life heard a Pharrell song & i'm 30.
ReplyDelete& No. I. Will. Not. Try. Too.
I find a bit hard to believe, but why not?
Delete@warecat. U probably have heard a song produced by pharell and just don't know it. The Guy is talented
DeleteShe's still a kid who's trying on all kinds of personas to decide which ones work for her--I may not like some of what she's been doing, but hey, I wasn't any smarter when I was her age; the main difference was that I didn't have the whole world watching me fall on my ass (or twerk it...). If they really thought her music was that bad, the decent thing to do would have been to make up a good excuse and bow out of the project; when you stick around and take her money, not only does it not speak well of you as a person, but you do realize your name will be attached to the project in question, right? *shakes head* (Please, Dolly, come shake some sense into your goddaughter! She seems like basically a nice enough girl with a decent singing voice; she just hasn't quite found her niche.)
ReplyDeleteI agree @Robin. She'll figure it out. I think she does have a vague sense of where she wants to be, getting there is just a bit of a struggle.
DeleteI would imagine that her track with Britney produced by Dr Luke, will be another one that really blows up. That, and the Nicki Minaj one, as well.
ReplyDeleteGet Lucky is an amazing song because of Nile Rodgers, NOT Pharell. Blurred Lines is a good song because of Marvin Gaye, NOT Pharell.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Miley is a great singer at all. She doesn't have much range, and most of her songs are bland. Party in the USA and that song she sings with will.i.am are decent, but she is heavily auto tuned in both of them.
ReplyDeleteSo, did her cover of a Henry Rollins tune make it to her new album?
ReplyDeleteShe proved them wrong, I guess.
ReplyDeleteAssuming this blind is for real, these guys should know that if the album was a fail, so are they - it's a big X on the resume - if they are just in it for the money fine but other artists don't want to work with losers on their next album.
ReplyDeleteher album isn't even out until Oct 8 so it isn't a hit or fail yet. Her single did well but that isn't an album.
ReplyDeleteWe still have some time kiddies to see how it lands.
Speaking of Get Lucky, does the phrase "good fun" seem out of place in a song about getting laid? 'Good fun' was always a phrase used by out of touch church youth ministers who were trying to sell their alternative to the pop culture fun of sex, drugs and rock and roll. And I don't think Daft Punk are using it in an eye rolling ironic sense. Irony is an English thing. The French take things too seriously for that.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with a religious context for the term - I just thought sex was good fun.
DeleteMiley has TWO singles in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 right now, so I guess all the snarky haters are just going to have to eat crow. Lady GaGa et al. *wish* they had Miley's mojo! Miley isn't a great singer, but she's good enough when she has the right material.
ReplyDeleteShe actually has a 4 octave range and natural vibralto. I've heard her from less than 2 ft.
DeleteOOOOh Kels. I guess you got me there. Feeling. Proud. Of. Yourself?
ReplyDeleteRead the rebuttal, and have a nice day.
"Get Lucky" sounds like Chromeo on a bad day. daft Punk should be ashamed of themselves.
ReplyDeleteI old enough that "Get Lucky" means the Loverboy album.
ReplyDeletecause shes a LIAR ?
ReplyDeleteKels stop being so devisive on these comments..shit you're a bitch. I dont know or care either who PW is...
ReplyDeleteMiley will win..just watch
she may have a 4 octave range and natural vibrato but her voice still sounds nasally and annoying......
ReplyDeleteI just hope she doesn't rape any Black Flag songs.
ReplyDeleteHer album is doing great, and her single that I've never heard is currently the #2 song in the country. Joke's on the jerks who were laughing so hard. Hope they don't find employment on her future albums.
