Blind Items Revealed

June 24, 2013

This A list mostly movie actress is not happy with her almost A list mostly movie co-star and feels like she has been doing all the work while the almost A lister is hogging the limelight and pretending the co-stars are bff. Not even close.

Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy (I should have said split between movie and television but she does more movies than television)

  1. She does more movies *now.*

  3. Melissa does more movies than television? Since when?

  4. I would have thought they'd have a good time working together. I heard the movie is pretty funny.

  5. Probably they were together at Disneyland with their families because she doesn't stand her

  6. Oooh, Sandy, you put that desperate starlet in her place!

  7. This makes me sad. I love them both.

  8. Sandy has the power to do as much or as little as she chooses. She probably Was doing more but I bet no one wanted her to, she's just that much of a control freak.
    Melissa did her job.

  9. The fact that anyone thought that they were friends just means Melissa Can act. Disappointments have made Sandy a pill.

  10. IT's probably the difference between marketing a movie in the 90's/00's and the '10's, because it's all internet gossip that makes a movie, not the premiere's, etc.

  11. I dont believe this. I do not believe for one second that Melissa did not work as hard as Sandra on this movie. Did you see her on snl? She drank ranch dressing and a bunch of other things that leads me to believe she puts in work! This is bs.

Haha @kels that ranch dressing skit was funny - so was her other appearance as the female basketball coach.

    2. I thought Enty was saying that Sandy was phoning it in.

  12. I like them both, all co-stars don't have to be BFF's.

  13. They are going to do a sequel, so they couldn't of hated it that much.

And it made over $150 mil at the box office.

  14. I don't think they hated each other, just that Sandy was probably trying to direct and block and light the set while deciding paint colors for the background. Melissa acted. Each had a good time.

  15. The Heat was much better than I thought it was going to be. They are supposed to not like each other for the first half of the movie.

  16. Not buying it - they are both professional and hard working, I don't see either trying to coast on this.
I think people just like to stir the pot when it comes to women co-starring.

  17. Sandra is just used to being the star, the one everyone loves, the witty, self-depracating one, the girl next door. People love Melissa, and I think Sandra is not used to sharing the spotlight with another woman. She's happy to share it with men, like George C or Matthew M, though.

    1. @ NaughtyNurse, Competition. It can bring the ugly. While I can't see Melissa going the distance like Sandy has...the younger , funny has to chafe.

  18. No doubt. Nothing like blowing a comment after a hard day out of proportion, to get gossip going...

  19. Us Sandys stick together nail that fat pig bitch!

I'm not staying awake at night worrying about their friendship.

  23. Maybe there is something to this blind item. Wasn't there a blind where the guy who plays Mike to her Molly doesn't like her? Most of the great comedians hide inner demons and can be quite dark and are most definitely capable of becoming a pain in the ass to work with.

  24. I like Melissa. I don't like Sandra. She reeks of 1990s rom-coms. Can't believe she still has a career, I thought she would have gone the way of Meg Ryan by now (last I saw of Meg she was doing some movie where she wore a fat suit and it had a title like "My girlfriend's hot mom" or something, I'm not kidding about this).

  25. I thought he was jealous of the attention being paid to her. You could still be professional and attract a flurry of ass kissing. It seems to be how some react when a star is on the rise.

  26. Looking at who was doing all of the press both here and abroad I can believe this. Maybe Melissa was bad to filming her show but she did seem to be absent from the press junkets.

  27. Sandra promoting The Heat stated MM was unavailable due to filming. Their chemistry in The Heat was fantastic, hope they team up again.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I despise MM. She got an extra fired for disciplining her child. Like MM is someone to tell a mom how to raise her kid?!?! Ugh hate her self-righteousness

  29. Were you there, @secondbecky?

Would love to see more resentful/bitchy blinds about male costars, because I don't believe this one.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Love both actresses and believe this blind just to be idle gossip :)

Melissa has kids, the extra was on a movie her husband is directing and the extra had been snippy with her child all day and she yanked up her child by the wrist and that's when Melissa blew up, and I would too! It's a super peeve of mine to see kids and dogs pulled up like that! I am glad she said something about it!

  31. It says they're both "mostly movie" - when has Sandra ever done TV? Besides talk shows, SNL, and red carpets I can't remember her on TV.

  33. MMcC better watch herself or Sandy B will put Rebel Wilson in the sequel. Come to think of it, how hilarious would that movie have been if Rebel was in it. So freakin' awesome.

  34. Sandra was quoted a couple of months ago...something to the effect of, "Don't hold your breath on the sequel happening." That made me believe this. Sandy did all the talk show rounds. McCarthy wasn't very active.

The movie sucked, but I didn't like "Bridesmaids" either. I like Paul Feig. I just don't like his movies. Tired of McCarthy doing the Vince Vaughn verbal diarrhea crap. She's more talented and attractive than they let her be. I actually liked what they let her do in the 2nd half of "Identity Thief."

  35. I think Sandy did the brunt of the publicity on their movie with McCarthy having her TV show as an excuse to get out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have never liked MM, yet I couldn't quite put my finger on why. This is why, and I believe it. I don't find her funny and she just looks like she likes herself too much. Team Sandy B.!

  37. none of melissa's costars like her it seems.. hmm

  38. the heat is incredibly funny tho, I laughed out loud more than 7-8 times.
