This celebrity is B- list. She is on television a few hours a week but her fame is nothing like it was a decade ago when she was probably still A list or close to it. She is big on telling everyone how she is very religious and big on talking about her kids and how they are religious and have vowed not to have sex with anyone until they are married. She talks about this constantly. So, when a parent of a girl said that her daughter and the celebrity's son were having sex our celebrity yelled at the woman and hung up the phone. A few minutes later the parent sent a photo of the son and daughter naked that had been on her daughter's phone.

I guess he still could be claiming virginity until marriage, but unless the girl was underage (which is a whole different issue) - would a parent really be calling another mother over young adults having sex? Seems a little old to be calling someone's Mommy on them. I feel like this should be a 16/17 year old

ReplyDeleteIf it's Kathie Lee, both her kids are young adults now and may not share her beliefs. She can't be blamed for not controlling them - maybe all the virginity talk is just her wishful thinking. Unless the kids involved were underage, the other mom shouldn't have tattled either.
Way to make your point! Parents always last to know. Years ago, I worked in ob/gyn office. We had a young college aged girl come in with sn STD, and her medical history indicated it wasnt the first time. She was very very upfront about it. The kicker was, her mother called worried about her daughter at gyn office because she said her daughter was a virgin and wld be scared to be exaimed! Lol
ReplyDeleteAunty: I've worked w clients who wouldn't be permitted to use tampons, as a way of avoiding any possible deflowering, when the girls in question were the proverbial town bikes and it'd be like throwing a sausage down an elevator shaft.

DeleteI'm not a lawyer, but I would caution against using electronic devices to send naked photographs of anyone under 18. If these kids are under 18. I'm still leery of this.

I was thinking Marie Osmond also, but her talk show was canceled. But it is still being shopped around. Not sure if it is still on the air or not.

ReplyDeleteAs to why the parent would tell her and send her the pic...I thought it was expressly *because* she was insisting so much that her son was a virgin and the parent was annoyed. Obviously they must be at least acquaintances if she has Kathy's ... er, I mean the celebrities' number...
