Blind Item #11
This actress is C list. A good actress but more known for her parents than her acting ability. Oh and her boyfriend. She was known for him too. Our actress ran into this B+ actor from a hit franchise that hit a bit of a bump this year when the latest installment was released. he is taking some of the blame and broached the idea of the actress being his beard. She's all for it. Loves it as a matter of fact.
I think this is supposed to be Zoe Kravitz and Chris Pine...but she's back with her ex Penn Badgley
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Lily Collins but they broke up right?
ReplyDeleteFranchises that didn't do too well this year:
ReplyDeleteHangover
Kick Ass 2
I just watched Hangover 3 last night and it flat out sucked. Hated 1&3, enjoyed #2. Glad the only one who profited was the Chinese Criminal I purchased it from.
ReplyDeleteTonight I finish Wolverine and start This is the End.
You hated 1&3 but liked 2? 2 was a replica of 1, but with shitty jokes. Please explain this to me.
ReplyDeleteHow could it be Chris Pine? Star Trek: ID did really well. Critically acclaimed and a box office success.
ReplyDeleteKick Ass 2 was awesome.
ReplyDelete@Kristin: I don't know. I saw 1 once, I was even stoned, and I didn't enjoy sitting through it.
ReplyDelete"STID" was a disappointment financially. It was liked by the critics. We loved it. But it didn't make BANK like they probably assumed it would. I'm sure it turned a nice profit, but it wasn't a smash hit or anything.
ReplyDeletelove the chris pine guess
ReplyDeleteit made money but i heard alot of backlash from fans that said they hated it
i enjoyed it, wont watch it again tho
saw prisoners this weekend ..loved it
ReplyDeletewe're the millers was my favorite summer movie
Im just sick of the "bro" type movies. They all follow the same formula and are just so lame. Bunch of sexual jokes, at least one scene about being caught naked, sometimes involving a parent, teacher, employer, etc... One of the bros perpetually drunk/drugged up/out of it, blah blah blah... they're just all the same.
ReplyDelete@Jessica I concur, except for Beer Fest. That was a brilliant piece of cinema complete with Donald Sutherland, Cloris Leachman, and the some of the worst German accents ever caught on film!
ReplyDeleteTaylor Lautner. Twilight. I heard tha last movie was epically bad. Not sure about the actress...
ReplyDeleteTwilight didn't "hit a bump," it ended. I believe it did very well financially, which I think is all they care about when something ends.
ReplyDeleteLiking the Chris Pine guess. A lot of diehard ST fans were disappointed with the newer version of the Kirk/Khan story.
I should know this. It seems obvious, but nothing comes in my mind ATM.
ReplyDeleteI thought Chris Pine dated model Amanda Frances???
ReplyDeleteI don't think Chris Pine is gay. Ted C said he was not and he thinks everyone is.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely hated the new Star Trek . . . HATED!! I'll never watch another one.
ReplyDeleteChris Pine is not gay.
I don't know who the gay actor is but maybe Katie Cassidy? She's C list, and used to date Jesse McCartney.
ReplyDeleteSo how is getting a beard supposed help this actor? Is being seen on the red carpet with a girl at your side going to boost ticket sales?
ReplyDeleteWhat if it was Benedict Cumberbatch? His career is REALLY on the up and up, but a lot of people criticized him for playing Khan when he's a white man and should have known better than to take the whitewashed role. That might explain why he'd be 'taking some of the blame.'
ReplyDeleteIt's not Zoe. She's back to Penn http://cs305912.vk.me/v305912466/695e/Jaj8-yGex60.jpg. And Chris never dated her, they just visited a couple of events.
ReplyDeleteGytrash, I was wondering the same thing.
ReplyDeleteGood C-list actress more known for her parents: Rebecca Hall (father is famous theatre director Peter Hall, mother is opera singer Maria Ewing)
Boyfriend she was also known for: Skyfall director (and formerly married to Kate Winslet) Sam Mendes
B+ actor: Benedict Cumberbatch who faced some backlash when he was cast as Kahn in Star Trek
Benedict and Rebecca were also in two projects together: Starter for 10 and Parade's End
