Ashley Greene To Blame For Fire In Her Apartment

It took forever but Ashley Greene's insurance company finally coughed up the $305K they owed because Ashley Greene was at fault in the fire that destroyed her rented apartment. According to TMZ the reason it took so long was that Ashley kept ditching interviews and wouldn't respond to her own insurance company so everyone had to wait on Ashley. The owner of the apartment has not been able to rent it or repair it because she didn't have the money until the insurance company sent the check. In the fire, one of Ashley Greene's dogs was killed. I love this quote from TMZ. "Ashley, her brother and a friend were inside." By friend do you mean Ryan Phillippe who spent the night away from his girlfriend in Ashley's apartment?

  1. F*ck her for leaving her dog to burn.

  2. I'm sure she is devastated about her dog.

  3. So is Ryan Phillippe on the TMZ payroll too or BFFs with Kris Kardashian or something? Why aren't they calling him out on that shit?

  4. He's not even a blip on the radar anymore Faith. Other than being known as the ex Mister Witherspoon.

Reno, won't it be funny when her career goes up in flames?

Again, f*ck her. She got out. She couldn't grab the dog?

  5. This is heartbreaking because I'm sure she tried to get the dog out, but it was frightened and probably hid in an inaccessible spot. I know my dog hides in the hardest-to-reach spot when there's a thunderstorm and I can't get her out, no way, no how.

    1. Whether she's a bitch or whatever, I don't know. But I'd bet she would have saved her dog if she could have. I seem to recall reports that she was devastated over the loss.

  6. I don't think she meant to kill her dg. Perhaps she ditched the interviews because it was traumatizing to rehash. Not a great thing to do but perhaps understandable given the loss.

  7. Maybe she got the dog but it later died of smoke inhalation...people, be kind!

  8. Agree that the vibe is a bit harsh in here today. Certainly, she doesn't seem like the type to intentionally set fire to her home. It was an accident due to something careless no doubt.

I'm guessing she is devastated and probably did her best to rescue her pet- for all we know someone dragged her away. I mean she's not parasite hilton here. She was papped plenty of times out with her dogs.

  9. I hope this is the last we hear of this dipshit, d-list (and falling), candle-burning dog killer.

  10. @urban chaos - You're right about the vibe and I just added to it. The thing is, I do not like her. She did a poorly acted small part in a truly mind-numbing series of movies, yet she's all over the gossip pages. It would be nice to see less of her and more of Julianna Moore or someone who has some talent.

  11. As much as it would have been juicier but "the friend" wasn't Ryan Phillipe but some guy named Ramsy Krull. She's tweeted about hanging out with him and her brother the night before and he's the one that appears in that horrible TMZ consoling her while she's holding her dead dog's body (did I mention that video was horrible??!). You could tell she loved that dog from the multiple times she'd post her photos and take her to movie sets and photoshoots etc. Accidents happen and I'm sure she blames herself enough.

  12. Wow, this is incredibly painful. Be kind people, you don't know what happened in that house and there has to be a reason she couldn't get her dog out. I'm sure she's devastated about her dog. My sister just passed away in a house fire, we believe she went back in for her dogs and died of smoke inhalation. I wish she would have kept herself safe instead of going back to save her dogs. I love animals and my cat but I love my sister more. Ashley saved herself, good for her. Both she and her dog could have died had she tried to go back inside, and as much as I love animals, I'm glad the human lived.
Sorry for the downer, this just happened last Monday. I still can't believe it.

  15. I also have to add that I like the fact that she turned this around and rescued two pups on death row. I mean as sad it is for that poor dog to go in such way at least there was some good out of the experience.

  18. Geez, I hope some of you never suffer a devastating loss and get a hearty, "fuck you" for your suffering. She got one of her dogs out and was clearly devastated by the loss of the other one.

If I remember, either the brother or the friend reentered the apartment trying to get the dog. I believe the firemen found it under the bed or under the couch.

Sugar, I am so very, very sorry.

    1. Don't worry @Bacon, I won't.

(Btw, it's not too hard to be on the higher horse when when responding to someone who says, "fuck you" to/about someone who has suffered a tragedy)

  22. So sorry for you loss Sugar, horrible thing to have happend.

While what happend to Ashley was tragic losing a pet. It could of been much much worse and luckily no one in the apt or neighbors were hurt.

You have to have common sense when it comes to candles. Never ever leave them unattended and never ever go to bed with them still lit.

  23. Thank you guys, I appreciate your kindness. Sorry, I really didn't mean to bring real life into this and I normally wouldn't say anything but this obviously hit me very close to home. xo

  25. Read an article with an interview with a fire captain. Just to give a little bit of important knowledge: houses burn incredibly fast these days due to synthetics and plastic components in furniture and electronics. You have 30 SECONDS to get out safely.

Focuses the mind doesn't it? I also got a tip from a firefighter when I visited his home. Keep all doors in your house closed. This keeps fire from spreading so quickly. I left his house for a night and was strongly 'guided' to shut all the doors down a hallway. The owner and his girlfriend (my friend) were confused about whether THEY had closed the doors, as neither remembered doing so. Let's just say I had more than one psychic experience during that visit... the others were just a BIT more freaky.

  26. Sugar, I'm sorry for your loss and I completely agree. I love my pets and would be devastated if I lost them, but not nearly as devastated as my family would be if they lost me. The trauma of losing a pet is not the trauma of losing a parent (or a sibling).

@SophiaB, that's interesting information. All doors, including bathroom and closet doors?

  27. onedroid7 Thanks for the clarity. Everyone, the insurance legally at fault. It does NOT mean that she set the fire. It means that something she did (light candles) was the cause of the fire. When I see the pix of all the people who follow this site on the holidays, I wonder why such normal looking family people write such cruel things about strangers. Watch out for karma some of you.
