As I Lay Dying Singer Will Face Trial
It only took a judge a couple of hours listening to prosecution witnesses to decide that Timothy Lambesis should stand trial for trying to hire someone to kill his wife. The Christian singer is accused of hiring someone he believed to be a hitman but was actually an undercover police officer. Lambesis plead not guilty to the charges. Considering they have him on audio and video this should be an interesting defense. I know he is going to say he didn't know what he was doing because he was on medications or was tired or didn't understand what the word kill meant, but he should just make a deal now. He faces nine years in jail if convicted. Does that sentence seem low to you? It means he can get out in about three years for trying to have someone killed. That's the most. If he makes a deal he would probably get out in a year or two at the most.
It was the roids, I'm sure that comes up in trial.
ReplyDeleteI understand the urge to have someone killed....I truly do!...but why would someone think it's a good idea to talk to just any-dang-body to do the deed?
ReplyDeleteOh, and divorce is still a fine option, ffs!
It's amazing how many of these schemes are stopped by undercover cops.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see crazy drivers I usually joke "where's a cope when you need one?" Well, I bet his wife is counting her blessings that there was one when and where she needed a cop to be.
What the ferk? Christian singer? Sweet Jesus.
ReplyDeleteI just wish everyone would stop saying 'Christian singer' because even he has said since this happened that he's more or less left the faith.
ReplyDeleteArse hat, shite music.
ReplyDeleteHis hemorhoids made him do it?
