Yea Celine, Prince and MJJ's only because you got first dibs at front row seats to their concerts. Michael and Prince never wanted industry folks to be in the front so I always had amazing seats when I saw them perform.
No. I only wrote one letter to anyone...President Bush, at age 6. I told him I liked his dog and that he was doing a good job bombing Iraq and to kill Saddam and keep up the good work.
Oh, I did write one to Ross Perot too but I never sent it. I was his biggest fan, and he was proven right on NAFTA. If he had a fan club I totally would've joined it.
I even failed at joining a fan club. In the mid 90s I was a fan of Aqua (the nasty Europop group) and mailed a fan club membership application form I cut out of a CD booklet. Never heard from the fan club again.
I wouldn't belong to any club that would have me as a member.
