Back in 2010, a 19 year old woman says that she was gang raped by Sean Kingston, his bodyguard and one of the members of his band after a Justin Bieber concert. The woman had attended the concert and says that she had smoked pot and had seven to ten shots of vodka before being invited at 3 am for a meet and greet with Sean at his hotel room in Seattle. When she arrived, she found Sean naked in bed and was lifted by his bodyguard and placed on top of Sean. She says that all three men took turns raping her.
The woman was rescued by a friend of hers and they called the police. Her injuries were consistent with rape, but police eventually dropped the case because they said the woman was not credible enough. She is suing all three men and wants $5M. Kingston says it was all consensual and that the woman wanted to have sex with all three of the men.
I hope she gets every penny

@libby, the friend still had to discover that her friend was there, learn where the suite was, then gain entry, and so on. To my mind the rescue story is iffy at best and casts doubt over the whole affair. The police also determined she wasn't credible.

I've known several people who have said they were raped or abused and they did it for personal gain, whether it was money or to get something else they wanted. I'm saying the police didn't find her credible, and so people shouldn't immediately say he's guilty and a horrible person when it looks to the professionals like this wasn't a valid complaint.

@char: and to answer your question, no, I haven't gotten drunk in an unfamiliar place or with unfamiliar people and walked off with someone I didn't know. Ever. Because that's how these things happen. If I feel the need to get sloppy drunk I do it with people I know, if I feel the need to do it in public I make sure my DD has my back. Often I'm the DD and I have often told my friends that they are not allowed to leave with people from the bar.
