    Ciara looks great! I've heard her called a "jump off" and if I knew what that meant I'm sure I would be offended on her behalf

      A jump off is an opportunistic ho. When she sees a cute dude, she jumps at the first opportunity cause she's desperate. That's a jump off.

      Not sure if this applies to her but it could. She dates the guys she makes songs with and doesn't seem to care about how awful her career is- just her relationship.

      She is a jump off. She fooled around with amare staudemire while he was engaged to his long time gf/baby mother, slept with a married man in chris brown's social circle to try to get to chris brown but failed miserably and stole her current bf future from his long time girlfriend. She's washed up and has no morals. Since her career has tanked she's looking for her next sugar daddy to fuel her shoe addiction.

      Maybe Casper does the toyboy thing well ... does not step out of line, massages her shoulders, is patient with her, carries her bags, does never, ever contradict her, gets along with the kids ... any smart ho making a career out of his/her looks gets quickly that playing nice is the real edge.

    Love Ciara's hair here. The natural look seems to be in fashion for African-American ladies at the moment....does it require as much product and care as a straightened style, or is it easier to maintain?

      Thats a weave, not her natural hair.

      But natural hair is harder to maintain. Same amount of product- just wayyyy less harmful than relaxers. I think we're just doing it cause we wanna embrace our natural stuff, even if it takes hours to comb through and tame! Thats my opinion tho, cant speak for all. Besides, it just looks nice.

      There's a lot of hair there, I feel like similar to extensions you can tell when it is very thick. Also, it's not common to grow curly hair that long...that might just be me though.

    @Kels Thanks for the info. I'll never forget that scene in Chris Rock's 'Good Hair' where the chemicals in the relaxer disintegrate an aluminium can of cola....and the next shot is the very same chemicals being plastered onto the scalp of an innocent three-year-old.

    I had clearly been confusing "jump-off" with "side piece". For example, I thought it was correct to say "Rita Ora is Jay Z's jump off" when it appears the proper usage is "Rita Ora is Jay Z's side piece. Jay Z is Rita Ora's jump off." Correct?

    I always thought jump-off meant sidepiece, too. I learn so much here at CDAN!

    It amazes me how the music industry just washes their hands of artists and tosses them to the side: ie, Ciara. She was huge for a hot minute. Did she piss someone off? Sleep with the wrong man?

    Good Hair is such a fab documentary. I loved it!

    I love my natural hair. It takes much less time for me to do my hair than when I use to relax it. Honestly, it was the best decision for me. Just like @Kels said I can't speak for all.

    @Nutty I love Chris Rock even more than I use to for that doc...so funny so good.
