NSYNC Reuniting At Video Music Awards
Lance Bass finally got his wish. After years and years of going to psychics and stealing Justin Timberlake's hair for various potions, it is finally happening. According to The NY Post, NSync is reuniting. I'm pretty sure no one expected it ever again unless there was some type of financial emergency for Justin. The rest of the group would be running full blast to get a piece of all that boy band reunion money that other bands are taking full advantage of, but they don't have a Justin Timberlake who seems to do just fine on his own making good music and bad movies. This will be the first time they have played together since 2002. I can't believe it has been 12 years.
My life is now complete.

ReplyDeleteSqueeeeeeeeeeeeee
ReplyDeleteI just started doing the bye bye bye dance!
ReplyDeleteJustin's going to pull a "Diana Ross". Lol
ReplyDeleteBad music just won't die anymore.
ReplyDeleteWill Chris Kirkpatrick wear his shoelace dreadlocks?
ReplyDeleteWe can only hope!!!
DeleteWell JT's Latest album is just NOT that good....of course he's gonna pull some Jackson 5 shit...Cuz he thinks that will help him.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go ahead and disagree with you on that one. 20/20 is a very good album and shows JT maturing as an artist - something that is crucial to maintaining a fan base over the long haul. I wouldn't generally listen to JT or anything of the sort (too much machinery, not enough real music) but this one is good and he put together a super-tight band to take it on the road, something else I admire. Plus he has matured in his personal style - look at how well-dressed he was when he did that week on Jimmy Fallon. Aside from the wedding video mess Timberlake gives me hope that not all celebs are completely useless.

DeleteI hear u. Never been a boy band fan. But I really liked his first two solo albums if you were out at a club or party...so maybe I had my hopes tooo high. lol! But I LOVE when he goes on Fallon. Those two should have their own show. That's the only time I like JT on Fallon or SNL.
Delete12 yrs?
ReplyDeleteF**k moi...
That hurts but i love them
POP!!!....
PPPPPPPPPPOP!
Meanwhile the guy who infested the world with all these boy bands sits rotting in jail forever because of the Ponzi schemes he ran to finance this junk
ReplyDeleteIt's tearin up my heart when I'm with you... I'm obnoxiously excited about this. It's embarrassing.
ReplyDeletethe ugliest boy band of all time
ReplyDeleteI will admit that Tearin' Up My Heart is one of my guilty pleasures.
ReplyDeleteBut 2002 was 11 years ago? I feel so old. Where did my 20s go?
I would have to say "Bye Bye Bye" is my favorite 'Nsync song. The video is good too.
ReplyDeleteAnother bad news to start my internet day.
ReplyDeleteJust took a moment to watch the Bye Bye Bye video again. J.C. Chasez was really as much the star of that band as Justin was. Whatever happened to his career?
ReplyDeleteIs it true that Joey Fatone is on Family Feud now?
Lance Bass is apparently serving as a judge on Cupcake Wars.
JC tried to have a solo career but the album was awful. He "dated" Tara Reid for awhile and even had her in his music video. So ashamed I know that.
Delete@Nutty_Flavor, I wonder the same thing about JC Chavez...I thought he was the one with the charisma and talent & Justin was just the young one who dated Britney Spears. Not sure about what Joey and Lance are doing these days. Honestly, the only boy bands that I thought were worth something was New Kids and N'Sync. I am very surprised that JT is allowing a reunion with them at the VMA's but I wouldn't bet on them releasing any new material or touring together anytime soon.
ReplyDelete@Nancy, as I recall, J.C. released one bad single - something about two girls making out on a dance floor while a male watched lasciviously - and not only did it flop, but he came off as a superficial creep while promoting it. Haven't heard anything about him since.
ReplyDeletei wont lie ! i really loved nsync, once i was far from home and feeling lonely and i heard one of their songs and i felt so much better.
ReplyDelete@Nutty I forgot about that song! The only single of his I could remember was Blowing me up with her Love.
ReplyDeleteMeh. I was a BSB girl myself back then.
ReplyDeleteThose new JT songs on the radio do nothing for anybody, and he knows it. I'm guessing he's gonna feel how it goes, and take it further pending its success. It's not like he has acting to fall back on - his turn in 'the love guru' put the nail in that coffin as much as that creeper song did the same to JC.
ReplyDeleteTo quote Jessie Spano - I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so scared...
ReplyDelete@Nutty and Nancy - I think JC should have stuck with guesting on DJ albums, such as his appearance on Basement Jaxx Kish Kash - he could've sustained some cred and his singing career.
JT will prob pull a beyonce and make them sing cry me a river
ReplyDeleteFOR REALZZZ????????????
ReplyDeleteI like some of JTs stuff and bought his CDs. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is weirdly excited about this news.
ReplyDeleteYeah! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI think JC has talent as a producer. Getting your own music out there takes real connection. It surprises me JC did not become the true break-out star. He is GORGEOUS. ANNNNDDDDD my husband is related to him, which is how I know the first thing about him... weird. I never got into the boy band thing and agree that, aside from JC, those are some bugugly boyz. Always wondered what the hysteria was about.
ReplyDeleteSince I grew up on Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Black Sabbath, James Taylor, Johnny and Edgar Winters, Santana, Cream, Jefferson Starship, Join Mitchell, the Brecker Brothers, Jeff Beck, and Cream, just to name a few, the boy bands of the 80s left me completely cold and mystified.
Sorry-JONI, not Join. Goddess!!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget that JC dated Eva Longoria! I've heard that JC's music style was VERY similar to the now popular Blurred Lines song. Sucks that his career didn't take off like it should have.
ReplyDeleteSo excited about this! I loved them back in my teens!
