Yes, that was how the conversation went when Ben Affleck told Matt Damon that he had got him the part of Aquaman in the new Batman/Superman film. That Good Will Hunting sequel you had always dreamed about, but never thought would happen is upon us. I think, in all fairness, to make sure this movie stands out above all other super hero movies for time immemorial is that Ben and Matt should play their characters with the exact same accents and vocabulary they did in Good Will Hunting. Then, this will be a truly memorable movie. We all are going to be thinking that or when the Batman/Aquaman love scene is and whether it will look at all like Brokeback Mountain and who will play which character.
Now, all we need is for Robin Williams to join the cast as the Riddler and Minnie Driver to pop in as Poison Ivy and we have got ourselves a classic.
They might as well add Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League of America and make that movie again.

The Riddler is a Batman enemy. It might have saved that one POS batman movie if they had Robin Williams as the Riddler instead of Jim Carrey.

ReplyDeleteYeah Ent of the day. It's JUST like Good Will Hunting. Aquaman goes into a school after dark and recreates the theory of gravity on a blackboard. Then when the teacher walks in he asks "How about them apples!" (Because Minnie Driver wasn't available)
