Yes I do watch the cat videos Enty posts. I spent my whole week finding homes for 40 Yes 40 cats and kittens from a Cat hoarding situation that was brought to my attention.Unlike most cat hoarders these cats were healthy and fed well. The lady spends 500 monthly on food and litter.Unfortunantly her daughter was in prison and the home had to be inspected by parole people..well they called animal control. Its sad here in Idaho because we dont have ASPCA.There are a few small no kill shelters but they are completley full.I found homes for 5 kittens but the adults will be seized and executed at the humane society. So sad ..she just kept taking in strays. She would spay and nueter when she could afford to.Even though she has way too many..(her home is large) they are tooken care of .By Boise city code you can only have 4.Any body who had any ideas or knows how to save thier lives let me know..sorry for long post..back to gossip
Miss z, can you email me at cdanlola@gmail.com? I have a couple of suggestions for you. I spent many years in the rescue/foster/shelter arena and although most of my contacts have dried up, I may be able point you to some places that can help.
Thankyou.I have a campain going on my FB page.Operation Rescue Kitty..lol. Yes we did Craigslist but no one seems to be interested in the adults...and all but 4 are spayed/nuetered.I found all the kittens good forever homes through my FB.The cat lady has her court hearing in 2 weeks.I am going to write letters to our local news who does little stories like this..also go to hearing with her to be a witness that she is trying to get them homes.
Oh My God, that was pretty much the funniest thing I've seen on the internet. I can't stop laughing.
Miss Z, have you tried your local Craig's list? Or maybe checking yahoo groups to see if they have a FreeCycle list in your area? Ours is mostly people trying to get rid of sofas or VCRs, etc, but I do see people offer pets once in a while and at least some of them do get taken.
Our cat is a rescue. The RSPCA were going to have the council destroy this feral litter of kittens. Bastards. We took ours home & he's the nicest and sweetest bit goddam retarded! He has no balance, doesn't wash himself (we have to bath and trim dingle berries) and is a bit "special" but has the sweetest nature.
awww.yes it always seems like rescues are the best pets.LOL at hes a little special.haha. I am so pissed they can come in and destroy them all when they are well taken care of.Yes the lady does have mental hoarding issues , but they are not neglected. Most cat hoarding issues are very bad and the cats need out of the situation. This lady has 9 litter boxes, lots of food and takes them to vet if sick.
Miss z - my hubby jokes I love our cat more than him, but we both know its true. He really is the sweetest bubby ever, and he seriously is special needs (he doesn't land on his feet and struggles to walk across our couch!) but it was the best thing we ever did.
I have 2 Rescue cats.My angus I found on the 4th of July .Some horrid person had stuck a firecracker in his bottom and lit it.We heard his cries in some bushes.I rushed him to the vet and he has been my best friend ever since. My fiance thinks I love him more than him too..lol.Angus is 14 now and weighs 22 lbs.The other cat came from a shelter.Love them both

I can't even hear about how people can hurt innocent animals! Whoever did that is a future sociopath. Thank goodness for you Miss Z. You have my undying gratitude and respect.
@Miss Z, you are doing great work there. Can you reach out to individual shelters and see if they maintain a roster of willing foster homes? Maybe the Idaho Humane Society can send an email blast to their network throughout the state as well.
@Miss Z, the TV stations love this kind of story, as do the newspaper people. Try to contact as many media people as you can. There are also some Facebook groups that could help spread your story. The more eyes that are on it, the more likely it is you can find homes.
@Miss Z, if you're still checking in, I have another suggestion - contact Oregon Humane Society. They have been known to get involved in dire cases out of state and especially being adjacent to Oregon, I think they could potentially offer some additional options/resources. Best of luck and kitty scratches from my guy who appreciates you caring about fellow felines :)
Thanku..i will make the call tomorow.Thr animal control guy came again today(she said he is very rude and no compassion) and gave her another ticket.he will continue to do so until she surrenders all..or finds homes.
