Lindsay Lohan must have booked her current job prior to The Canyons being released. Either that or someone thought it might be a way to sleep with her. No matter the reason, the fact is that Lindsay Lohan has been hired to play Kenny Powers' daughter. To make matters worse, she is going to be in the very last show of the series. The one people will watch the most will have Lindsay Lohan in it and she will be acting. I know. I thought she was finished acting too. I didn't think anyone would actually be dumb enough to give her a job. They gave her a job and sent her to North Carolina and they are filming her. With actual cameras. And scripts. With words. That she is supposed to read. This is not going to turn out well. Oh sure the guy from Variety will love her and Lindsay will be humbled and then the rest of the country will scream and point out that the guy from Variety should be fired for incompetence, but Lindsay won't even acknowledge any of those. Nope. Just humbled by variety and now she is ruining the series finale of a long running show.
Love this show. Hopefully LiLo will do it well. I wanna see bum cleavage, ugg boots and bad hair extensions ala bogan nouveau 2013.

Umm why all the Lindsay hate? I wish her well. When she was clean, she wasn't that bad of an actress. Hopefully she will do well.

Count me in with the others that don't get the hate now. She was a troublesome brat before, but she was in rehab for three months and quite frankly I hope it sticks this time. But until/if she falls off the wagon, I hope she does get work and pays her dues again.

Let's not forget that she was a pretty good actress before she went all Shamu the Killer Coke Whore on us. And did anyone really expect "The Canyons" to be an Oscar contender? Hate to rain on anyone's Pride Parade, but Bret Easton Ellis SUCKS.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ everyone complaining about Lindsay hate. For one thing, it's way more than the addiction. Lindsay is a rotten person. It seems people have already forgot the lies, the way she's treated people, etc. I guess everyone suddenly grew a heart and just assumes rehab fixes all the other issues as well.
ReplyDeleteWhen a rehab center opens up to treat lying, and when she gets help for being a sociopath, maybe then I'll feel sorry for her. But for weening her off Adderall and vodka? Hell no, I'm not rooting for her. This chick has been given a thousand chances, used and abused the system and everyone she has had contact with.
And before someone claims that everything she has done is a symptom of addiction, there are plenty of rotten people that don't have addiction issues. I believe her behavior stands on it's own.
Eastbound and Downton Abbey would be a great mash-up TV show. Not with Lindsay Lohan on it though.

ReplyDeleteAnd there's no certainty she will play Kenny's daughter. Kenny and April have a son so far. On the other hand, Stevie's wife is pregnant, and I could perfectly see Kenny's son marrying in the future a white trash Lindsay Lohan fathered by his greatest sycophant.
When you are only being cast as a parody of yourself. That isn't exactly getting you back on that Oscar winning road she thinks she can get on.
