Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Hate Charity

Kim Kardashian has never been big on giving completely to charity. Well, none of the Kardashian family, including Lamar Odom. Sure, they talk a big game, but those portion of proceeds going to charity from all their sales, usually amounts to pennies on the dollar. Given the chance to make a significant contribution to charity by selling the photos of North By Northwest and giving the money to charity, Kimye said nope. It would have been as much as $3M. Instead, they decided to feed their ego and are going to have the first photos published in Vanity Fair and the photos taken by Annie Leibovitz. For free. Vanity Fair does not pay. To the couple it is totally worth it because Kim has never got to be in anything classy and the last time she tried to be classy, a 70's rec room at a nursing home exploded on her at the Met Ball. She wants to reddem herself and the charities can kiss it.

    I loathe the practice of celebs getting paid such sums to have their babies on covers. Such a pimping thing to do.

    I have zero love for the Kardashians and maybe they do hate giving money away, but they certainly don't "hate charity" because they didn't donate the $3 million dollars that they NEVER RECEIVED because they decided to do a Vanity Fair shoot.

    It's like saying someone like Anna Kendrick is a bitch for not donating money from making a porno, even though she's never (I hope) made one.

      EXACTLY @Karen! All Kardashian hate aside, it sounds like they should be forced to do something they don't want to just to support "charity" (most money will go to whoever runs the charity anyway instead of the cause).

    I feel bad for this child who has to grow up with some vile egotistical parents to guide her thru life... Maybe the best thing that can happen to little North is to be raised by a decent nanny. Lord knows she doesn't stand a shot in hell with that family. They are all f'd in the head.

    Is it written somewhere that you have to give money to charity? It's a choice. I am not a fan of Kim amd I am sure it's killing her and Kris not to be able to put the baby on the block for the highest bidder. I like some of Kanye's music, but he is being a controlling person with Kim. Has she even been outside since having North? She has to have zero self esteem to let this man dictate every facet of her life. God bless the child. North, being the child.

    Not everyone who donates to charity shouts it from the mountaintops. Not saying this is the case here, but not everyone publicizes their good deeds. Just stop preaching what people should do with their money.

    i'm not a fan of selling baby pictures. The child has no say in the matter and just seems tacky.

    Charity is a choice and you never really know what people do behind the scenes quietly. Not everything has to be front page news. Not that Kimye would do anything quietly. But it is their choice not to expose their child for money.

    Nobody said boo when Tom, Kate & Suri posed for VF. People loved the photos.

    So lemme get this straight...if they sell the pictures and keep the money, they are bloodsucking famewhores. If they sell the photos and give the money to a charity, it has to be the right one, because otherwise they are just bloodsucking famewhores stealing money through their charity.

    OK...a note to this new Enty. I have never been one of the grammar or punctuation freaks on here, but COME ON!!!! We don't really expect your writing to be spectacular, but PUHLEEZ...would you PLEASE stop saying "got," as in "got to be in anything???" You could say, "Kim has never been in anything classy," or, "Kim has never gotten to be in anything classy." Just about anything would be better than "got to be." And the word is redeem, not reddem. Damn! I just spilled my martini over this shit!

    no one can FORCE you but wouldn't you WANT to if you were that blessed w/ $$$? I would...I do!

    and i'm not blessed (unemployed/on disability leave) I still donate to the HS and ASPCA but i cut my regular donation in half until i can get back to work again.

    because i want to, and it means a lot to me and i think, for my dog too
