Gia Allemand On Life Support- Possible Overdose
Former Bachelor and Bachelor Pad contestant Gia Allemand is on life support and is in critical condition in a New Orleans hospital after what her rep called a serious medical event and what another person called an adverse reaction and another has called a possible overdose. Yeah, I am going with the latter for this one simple reason. If it was something like an allergic reaction to a peanut, you would put that in a statement. There is no reason not to include it unless of course her boyfriend is the one who gave her peanut soup and salad knowing she was deathly allergic. Her boyfriend, who currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA is by her bedside as his mother. Gia finished as runner-up on The Bachelor and was ticked off she was not chosen to be The Bachelorette. She also felt like she should have stayed longer on Bachelor Pad.
Her boyfriend is by her side as his mother? As IS his mother? As IS HER mother? What?
ReplyDeleteI think he means that her boyfriend is at her bedside dressed as her mother.

DeleteLmao
Delete@figgy - I wondered the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I hate all these bachelor/bachelorette people and wish they would go away, but if someone may have attempted suicide, it's really not the time to be snarky.
Well I always thought she was quite sweet. I watch these shows and she was not vile like some of them. I wish her well and hope she heals.
ReplyDeleteAw, I would hope that my S/O would dress as their mother to sit at my bedside. :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, whatever the problem, I hope she's okay.
You know people can have allergic reaction to a new drug prescribed by a doctor that could almost kill you - esp antibiotics. Though I agree if that was the case why not say so.
ReplyDeleteGawd this Enty is AWFUL!
ReplyDeletePoor girL. Hope she recovers.
ReplyDeleteNow I mount my soapbox. I wish there were dedicated reality show channels, so if i want to watch a history doc, im not looking at pickers or some other crap that has not to do with history. Well, we all know the limited pool of stories in history--NOT!!!!!!! C'mon! And A&E with the dynasty of duck !!!!! And diggers on military channel. I dont care for reality shows ,true, but I watch plenty of junk so im not trying to be all snooty. Just certain channels named history or arts shld hv things that pertain to those subjects. Dedicated reality channels are the way to go!!
Completely agree with you, @AuntLiddy....reality shows are slowly taking over EVERYTHING
ReplyDelete@auntliddy fox had a reality channel for a few years. It was craptastic. Sadly they replaced it with a boring Nat Geo channel.
ReplyDeleteI remember when Bravo showed Operas and plays.
Yes, time, me too!
Delete@ Aunt Liddy, try PBS.org
ReplyDeleteThey have all kinds of interesting stuff on there. Nova, Nature, Masterpiece Theater etc. As a person without cable PBS is my go to channel, I love (for some bizarre reason) pbs kids "Wordgirl" ...' From the planet Lexicon, watch out villains...Here she Comes!" :)
Steam, love me the pbs altho some of it could put you in a coma. Heres tip for watching shows from england-closed captioning! U cant believe how much better u willl understand shows!
DeleteSadly, she is dead.
ReplyDeleteRIP
@timebob, remember when TLC stood for "The Learning Channel" instead of "The Lowlife Channel"?
