David Cassidy Busted For DUI Again
With nothing to do these days except watch his daughter on television and regret treating everyone of his fans poorly, David Cassidy spent some time in jail yesterday after being busted for DUI in New York. This is the second time Cassidy has been arrested for DUI in the past two years. So, yeah, I think he needs to admit that he has a drinking problem, and that yeah, if he is going to drink he needs to spend some of that money he earned on a taxi. Get a taxi and get your car back the next day. Cassidy only blew a .10 which a few years ago would be right on the edge of being drunk. Now though, it is over the limit. Because he is such a huge drinker, Cassidy probably thought he was ok to drive. The difference between .08 and .10 is not a lot when it comes to the number of drinks. He faces felony charges in New York because it is his second DUI. Nothing will happen to him other than some classes and probation though. So, if you have tickets to see him at some casino, chances are he will be there and maybe he will cut you a deal on a an autographed photo and will only charge $25, instead of $50.
Burrrrrn.
ReplyDeleteAt least he's doing better than Mikcey Dolenz.
"Da DUI run run" doesn't quite have the same sparkle.
ReplyDeleteI understand that he is not a terribly nice person.
ReplyDeleteHe's a freaking egomaniacal monster, his daughter an entitled, untalented biotch, and Shaun is still a sweetie.
DeleteHow scary. When I drank, I was sure I looked good. :( Cop Shops have the Worst lighting!
ReplyDeleteShaun sang 'Da Doo Ron Ron', not David. And, he was cuter, too. :)
ReplyDeleteJeez, I can smell the alcohol just looking at this pic. Yuck!
Oops, can't tell my Cassidy boys apart. With the blond-ish hair on David, I flashed back to Shaun.
ReplyDelete.08 is the US limit? When I am almost at here's limit of .05 I barely can drive, I wonder how many accidents I would have with .07.
ReplyDeleteWow. He looks used and abused- by his own hand of course. Soon he will be broke, busted and disgusted. At himself.
ReplyDelete( quietly closing big book of cliches, and leaving room).
.08 used to be the BC limit for impairment. They have changed the laws in the past few years, and it is now a bit lower...and the busted hire lawyers to fight the charges and contest the laws, rather than take a cab or find a friend who is sober to drive.
ReplyDeletethat's a really awful pic
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrific photo. He actually looks really good in person.
ReplyDelete@Topper, agreed, and he actually has a career 40 years after his heyday, which is impressive.
ReplyDeleteHe woulda made it home ok or he woulda run over a baby....you decide
ReplyDeleteI said when Kevin Hart got pulled over that I hoped they'd throw the book at him, and I will say the same about Cassidy. Drunk driving is something to be ashamed of.
ReplyDeleteStill enraged that he didn't respond to your teenbeat fan mail?
ReplyDeleteHe's an alcoholic and so was his father. It's an ugly disease...clearly
ReplyDelete@Murphy, I'm afraid to ask...what's up with Mickey Dolenz?
ReplyDeleteA part of my childhood just died with that picture.
I saw him in Tahoe (I think) several years ago and he was very nice. No ego or uglyness at all. What are the rumers about how he treats fans? Substance abuse issues and childhood stars are like peas and carrots. You can probably count on one hand the healthy adults who were former child stars (with no abuse issues along the way). Sad that this is what he's become. But yes, he should be held accountable.
ReplyDeleteThe country is packed with 56 year old women who would give their right arm to drive David Cassidy around. He should tap that population of fourteen year olds from 1972 for all his chauffeuring needs.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a drunk
ReplyDeleteMickey Dolenz seems to be doing just fine... The Monkees (sans Davy Jones, RIP) have reunited and were just on their second tour. A friend of mine shot their show when they came to our state a month or so ago. At least I hope things are good for Dolenz, I love those Monkees!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I didn't think the Monkees were doing that badly.
ReplyDeleteI saw David in December and he was wonderful as a performer. Some older fanlady -- I can't call her a fangirl -- wouldn't stop distracting him at the front of the stage nd he told her to sit down, which was kind of rude, but what else could he do? It was a small theater and he does have to focus. Still, his attitude was a bit brusque, so I don't doubt the stories that he's not always so nice to fans.
