Blind Items Revealed

May 27, 2013

This couple was at Cannes together for several days. She is an A list mostly movie actress. He is a celebrity. They not only slept in separate rooms, they slept in separate hotel rooms, and not even on the same floor. That is a very strange marriage.

Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban

  4. Extremely holly-weird

  5. It's hardly weird. Some people prefer to sleep alone. Definitely not just a Holly-weird thing. You must be young. LOL

    1. No I just dont see why different rooms on different floors. Its not even like they've been married forever. This and all the crap I've read about them seems like theyve got another hollyweird marriage.

If any of its true, that is.

    2. Different rooms is understandable, I'm sure they both have pr, stylist, etc.. be crowded and annoying but different hotels? She must pay well or have something on him. He seems like a great guy and should just run already.

  6. I have a really hard time believing all of these Keith and Nicole blinds. I don't know them personally, but we run in similar social circles in Nashville and they go to our friends' kids' birthday parties and out and about together when they are in town and seem very normal to me. And I've sat next to Nicole at the local cheap-but-awesome manicure place and she was shy, but lovely to everyone. Just my personal experience.

  7. Separate beds is very normal. Adjoining rooms is normal, if someone snores or schedules are very different. Different floors is odd.

  8. Um, he's a bit more than a celebrity. He's had a fairly successful country recording career.

The rest kinda just made me shrug and say "whatever"

  9. I think if they've got different press schedules then different rooms makes sense. Different loot could be all the hotel had at that time.

  10. Eh. She was working at Cannes and probably had a million people in and out of her room, dressing and primping her, interviews going on in her room, etc. It is perfectly understandable that he would have a separate room. He was there to support his wife, which is nice.

  11. We always book separate rooms for our "kids" and without exception they have been given rooms on a different floor.

Even if you specify in advance, sometimes you just get what you get.

    1. @Sherry This is true, and it was indeed the busiest time of the year in Cannes. But can you imagine if we'd read the same blind about Travolta and Kelly Preston, or Tom and Katie, or even Kim and Kanye? Everyone would have said "Of course they're in different rooms! Duh!"

    2. @Other Sherry I was thinking the same thing. Maybe that was all that was available when they asked for two rooms for their party.

  12. @Ellie Buckles: Some people are very different when behind closed doors.

  13. I find it both sad and disingenuous that you call Keith a celebrity when he is a multi grammy winning, has won many country music awards through the years. He has hit records and tours extensively as well. I do believe that would earn the right to also have had him be called a musician not just celebrity.

  14. All recording artists are called celebrity on this site. It just means somebody famous from something other than acting.

    ReplyDelete
  15. While that's true @Lisa, I think that if he had been called a musician then there was only this couple to guess and it would've been a dead give away.

  16. Yeah, what's with all the pissiness about calling Keith a celebrity? All non-actors, non-reality people are called celebrities on this site. Especially since Keith is also a reality judge, "celebrity" fits just fine.

I told you she didn't like anyone touching her pink bits. Also, Keith is prettier than she,

  18. I don't blame him. If he gets too close to her he might get frostbite.

  19. If Keith Urban isn't gay, then the Pope definitely isn't Catholic.

  20. Maybe her room is set up for the stylists and clothes and all the other crap with people in and out while his room is for actual rest, relaxation, and privacy.

  21. @ Ellie Buckles, whocaresnow12, Naughty Nurse, [my secret inamorato] the Count, mistang, and maybe some others: You got it.

On a number of [business] occasions I've booked several areas [multiple rooms, suites, conference rooms and even vacated restos] in order to get 'all' of us into the same crowded/popular venue at peak times.

If you've got the budget and the need, you do it however you can. Just because the venue has something listed as 'X', it may be used as "N + K".

  22. Sad to hear they are evaluating their marriage and spending time apart. Nicole will get dumped on of course ..that's a given. But I suppose marrying an addict with a history of ending up in stranger's beds is not the smartest life choice.

    ReplyDelete
  23. and I agree with Lisa. Keith is an A list musician and Nicole is A+ list forever.

    ReplyDelete
  24. She picked that up from Cruise. They always stayed on separate floors, no where near each other. That was just a rule. Why would she start sharing a room with this husband.

  25. Something slightly too contrived about these Nicole Kidman stories.
