Blind Item #5 - Easy Easy
This former B list mostly movie actress is now a C list who will work anywhere anytime, but the check better be large. She was supposed to be promoting a movie this week, but when the producers would not cough up an extra $50K in fees and plane tickets, our actress stiffed them.

ReplyDeleteSick of all these blinds where producers expect the talent to travel for free. Once the picture is done, the talent is done.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone noticed that actors' credits are creeping closer and closer to last? Pretty soon they will run after the soundtrack credits.
AND... Every single movie I watched this summer had 15 minutes of producer credits before the movie started. And then 15 minutes of IATSE credits before I could find out who was in the movie.
Each time I said fuck it I'll check IMDB.
Who cares who the 10th AD was. It used to be that people stayed to watch the credits out of courtesy. Now that the producers are glomming on, again, who cares.
Lilo was never going to Venice as part of her "sobriety" programme.
ReplyDeletePlus, she was paid $100 / day for The Canyons. They never had any budget. It's tanked. How would they suddenly have $50k to pony up for her?
