Blind Item #2

This A+ list mostly movie actor is aging and has never liked his fans or appreciated his fans and age is not going to change him. He believes his fans are a nuisance and that if he could be rich without them he would. He doesn't like them and has no respect for them at all. Case in point. Our actor was walking back to his hotel in NYC after promoting a movie he wants them to see and ignored every fan who approached him. At his hotel there were about 50 people waiting for him and he had nothing to say to any of them and ignored them and pretended they did not exist. This is him every single day.

    1. My first guess too.

    2. My hubby is the bar manager for an upscale hotel and has met many celebs. Harrison Ford always stays there and every interaction with him he has been quiet, but polite and always took pics and signed autographs with anyone who got the courage to ask.

This is not the norm. Some surprising people like Gwen Stefani have been awful.

  2. Rule out..

    Tom Cruise
    J Depp
    B Pitt

All are known for signing hours of autographs.
    Now carry on, smart people!

  4. Easy peasy-Bruuuuce! He's turned into a big old flaming pus pocket, on life's anus. I miss the 80s. Get off my lawn.

  5. I agree w/ H Ford....So obviously him, thank you Just Lurking--I'm so awful at blinds.
Talking to strangers would be hell for Indiana Jones OR Han Solo.

  6. Hi Cathy---Can I just say I am bored/annoyed with the posts, and the old commenters are gone too? I can find porn anywhere. That's all.

And I'm sad about it too, thank you for saying hi!

  10. Bruce Willis, altho I don't know whether he's ever done anything outside movies. There was just an article about how incredibly surly he was at Comic Con.

    libby, I feel the same.

    1. He was on Moonlighting w/ Cybil Shepard. Totally fits. That interview you referenced was painful to watch. I realize it can be annoying...but the fans are the reason he is rich!! Ingrate. He's very overrated as an actor IMHO.

  11. Harrison Ford is promoting Paranoia right now. He's always seemed like an uppity douchelord.

  12. I came in to say definitely not Johnny Depp. He filmed that gangster movie with Christian Bale (too lazy to Google) in my hometown area. Apparently he stayed late on the set every day to sign autographs & didn't stop until he got everyone who waited there. Major thumbs up for that. Especially since this was small town Wisconsin & he could've ignored everyone & sat in his trailer every chance he got.

Also wanted to add that RDJ was in Milwaukee recently and dined at a local restaurant. By all accounts, he was very gracious & fan-friendly. So take THAT, FSP. :-P

  14. Bruce Willis got his start on a TV show called "Moonlighting."

    Kids today...

  15. the worst autograph signers are Dicaprio,Ed Norton,Tobey maguire,JGL (it's true,i was in Inception's french premiere)

  16. Topper - haha I'm an oldster! And completely forgot about Moonlighting - yes another senior moment!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Def Harrison Ford for Paranoia.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @msgirl Haha!! I have had some "mid-life moments" myself! (I refused to be called a senior until I am allowed to eat off the cheap menu at Denny's.)

  19. ChopChop where did RDJ dine in Milwaukee?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Harrison Ford came to mind immediately because of the Paranoia movie premiere in New York. I'm also going to throw in Gary Oldman as another option because I think he was there too.

  21. Bruce Willis has been an ass exactly this way since he was "Mostly TV."

  22. Alec baldwin seems to have contempt for fans

    ReplyDelete
  23. chopchop is correct.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah, if it said, Huge vain asshole, to every person he comes in contact with, makes every set a war zone, Lord King Jizzwhistle, then it would've been an easy Ed Norton.

  25. What TV did Harrison Ford do?

I buy Willis for this. He was a hot smirker

  26. @Jessi: he ate at the Packing House. It's near the airport.

  29. @FrenchGirl : Yes, Public Enemies thank you! Some of it was filmed in the Fox Valley area which is where I grew up. Shit, now I've revealed too much of myself B Profane is gonna out me.

  30. Harrison Ford was my first guess so I'll stick with him. He comes across as a miserable old fart.

    ReplyDelete
  31. On board with Wiliis. He can be nasty and he really isnt that bright either. And i can never forgive willis or moore for deserting ttheir three girls.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Harrison Ford has always been appreciative of his fans and accommodating. Just DON'T ask him for an autograph when he's taking a leak. Trust.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am going to sign on to the Bruce Willis guesses, after that horribly rude interview he did this week, where he basically refused to answer questions and made fun of the interviewer, embarrassing Mary-Louise Parker.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, this is absolutely Bruce "movies cost too much money to make because of unions" Willis. This isn't his recent attitude either. He's been like this for 25 years.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @frenchgirl JGL? Please say you're kidding. I love him.....

@unknown Baldwin has contempt for everyone.

I think this is Bruce. He used to seem like a nice guy.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think if Harrison were ignoring someone, he might just not hear them. He's old as hell, ad probably half-deaf.

Bruce is a turd. Alec, too.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I was thinking Keanu

    ReplyDelete
  38. I was thinking Harrison Ford but not if it's mostly movie. Now my guess is Bruce Willis.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Please put me in the column that is in no way surprised that Gwen Stefani is awful.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I only really know the people that WILL stay to sign autographs etc. I know a few who won't but they aren't exactly A list.
Everyone likes to think that Russell Crowe for example is a bug grump, but there are photos of him all over facebook having pics taken with babies etc. lol.
    Daniel Craig is an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Steve Martin has the only decent idea about how to handle autograph requests. Keep a handful of these in your pocket every time you go out in public. What does an autograph do for the recipient anyway? Give proof that they met somebody famous? The card works just as well. A cell phone picture is even better proof & you don't have to interrupt a stranger's day to get it. Leave the poor guy alone.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not Harrison Ford. He's an absolute sweetheart.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Harrison Ford is a friend of a friend. According to my friend, Harrison Ford does not understand why people make such a fuss over him. He thinks he's just a regular guy and is embarrassed by all the attention.

That being said, I think this is Bruce Willis.

  44. @FrenchGirl -- Thank you for your posts. Especially re HF; have read a number of anecdotes re his casual/normal/friendly interactions w/'civilians'. He seems to be a really mellow normal guy [if you know what i mean ;-) ]

@libby -- Agree w/your comment re CDAN recently. Any suggestions on other sites to read would be greatly appreciated!
