Blind Item #1

This current A list celebrity who will go back to B list when his song stops bombarding us daily spent part of the weekend engaging in what he called a little celebration. He always wanted a foursome and he got his wish this weekend. He seemed most excited that they allowed him to take photos and didn't charge him.

  3. Totally Robin. Haven't he and his wife been together for like 20 years? Maybe they have an open relationship...

  4. I had no idea the song I've been hating on all summer is 'Blurred Lines'. That song is truly awful.

  5. Robin Thicke...you dirty dog...

  6. I have to disagree with yout @Dixie - Blurred Lines is THE jam this summer. I don't even generally like current pop music but that song is great. And yes, I know it borrows heavily from Marvin Gaye (as well as a bass riff from every disco song ever).

  7. Yes, but was Miley in on the foursome?

  8. It doesn't actually say here that his wife wasn't part of the foursome...

  9. Can we talk about his Beetlejuice suit last night?!

    1. Someone must've said his name 3 times. He won't leave!

    2. Haha! I see Lydia Deets in the audience cheering him on.

  10. @Lucas, I agree with you. I also like 'Blurred Lines.' I liked the video, too.

  11. @Lucas - I'm sure my opinion is quite unpopular as it seems loads of people love this song. I just can't get in to it. 'Blurred Lines' and 'Get Lucky' make me cringe. Get Lucky makes me sad considering I've been listening to Daft Punk for about ten years now. Saw them at Red Rocks (in Colorado) in 2007, they were phenomenal.

    1. @Dixie - I can't get into the Daft Punk tune. And I think their music has always gone a little over my head, but I have never been big on EDM (or whatever they are calling it these days).

    2. @dixie blurred lines, get lucky, treasure, and take back the night all sound like the same disco party to me.

    3. I've loved Daft Punk forever and didn't like Get Lucky at first but after another listen I LOVE it. I'm actually enjoying summer pop this year.

  12. Definitely Robin Thicke. I don't think his wife cares. As long as he keeps bringing home drugs and money, she will stay with him. I do wonder if Miley was part of this. Her tongue is so freakishly long and very white. I was mesmerized by it last night.

  15. @a non a miss - The Beetlejuice suit was EVERYTHING.

  16. Not sure why you have to hate on "Get Lucky"-Daft Punk said themselves they were doing a pared down album that was straight up disco and such. Pharrell is a talented guy.

  17. I'm with you Lucas - the song has a great, catchy beat. Love the video as well.

  18. Blurred Lines is awesome. I don't even know why we keep calling it the jam, because I don't know what that is, but it is one of the best songs of the year so far fo sho.

  19. How old does a guy have to get before he gets over the need to take provocative photos for keepsakes. Hilarious.

  20. LOL @ VIP. The best part of that is Winona in the audience, shocked.

  21. Get Lucky took longer to get into; what's with the 70s revival? If I hear Treasure on the radio by Bruno Mars I just have to change it. Not ALL seventies stuff is soul train worthy.

  22. I like the song, but he is definitely a one-hit wonder. He performed another song from the album and it was aaawfuuulll.

    1. This is off his 2nd or 3rd album, he's had a lot of success in the AC format... He's a douche, but one hit wonder he's not.

  23. @MBK, not even a one-hit wonder in the original sense. The song borrows HEAVILY from Mavin Gaye.

  24. Like Blurred Lines but they can edit out that repetitive squeal in it and I would be OK. Hate the video.

Funny how "Get Lucky" seemed to vanish from the radio after Daft Punk pulled out of Colbert's show. I like the song but couln't listen to it after that fiasco.

  25. I love this song. It's so damn catchy!

  26. Robin Thicke was on Howard Stern recently and admitted that he and Paula practice debauchery in the bedroom to keep things lively. They've been together forever and have a strong enough relationship to introduce a third or fourth guest. And, after Miley's performance at the VMAs, I would guess she was one of the foursome.

  27. Let's not paint Paula Patton as a saint.

    She has her dirt too.

She hooked up with both Will Smith and Denzel Washington PLUS she has a thing for the ladies.

  28. VIP is Santa Claus.

  29. @Freya

Will Smith is a known closeted gay and Scientologist.

  30. If this is Robin I'm sure his wife Paula is ok with it. He all but admitted on Howard Stern that he and his wife engage in threesomes. If she's ok with it, who are we to judge.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I would be willing to bet a years salary Paula was part of the equation...

    ReplyDelete
  32. You lost me when you said she slept with Will..LOL!! Uhm,no..no she didn't.

I love the "Get Lucky" song but I haven't heard "Blurred Lines" until recently. Much prefer the former to the later. But if Paula is okay with it then who cares. Who spilled though?

    ReplyDelete
  33. OMG VIP! Where did you find that? Awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love Blurred Lines. I also like Get Lucky.
I know Get Lucky is Daft Punk but really, it is a Nile Rogers track. He IS disco music. ( And one of the nicest, most gracious people I have had the privilege of meeting).
Of course it sounds like 70's disco. Chic made that sound.

  35. zzz.... I'm sure Focus on the Family would have an issue with this but all I've got is who gives a shit?

  36. Robin Thicke is a dirty dog, but he is NOT a one-hit wonder. His album The Evolution of Robin Thicke (from 2006 that is way more soul/R&B than his current stuff) is absolutely phenomenal and was very successful. Just because his stuff wasn't playing on the Top 40 stations ad nauseum does not mean it was unsuccessful.

  38. I like both songs and downloaded them from iTunes. I'll watch anything with Robin. Paula looked higher than hell on the red carpet and must have been too stoned to jump on the stage and kick the crap out of Miley!

    ReplyDelete
  39. They seem like a happy couple. However they stay happy is none of my business!

  40. hey Sugar, you need to paint your tongue white. Very smiley Miley!

  41. Also love Blurred Lines and I LOVE the music video.

I'm ashamed to admit that I have been listening to We Can't Stop on Spotify all night. I hated it before last night. Hated it.

  42. I've never heard either one of those songs I keep reading about Blurred Lines but I've never heard it. I never even heard of Get Lucky until just now.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Dixie I'm with you honey. If I never heard Get Lucky or Blurred Lines again, it would be too soon. Robin's more soulful and funky stuff is way better in my humble opinion.
