How often do you buy coffee?

82 comments:

  1. i gave up caffeine this month, but on a normal level.... once or twice a month. i try and save money, so unless i'm out with a friend or out shopping, i usually don't buy coffee drinks.

    energy drinks however.....

  3. K-cups come 18 to a box, I drink one cup each weekday morning, so every three to four weeks.

  4. I saw this just after going and buying two large coffees just for myself. Ummm...constantly. Like 3-4 times per day.

  5. Never. I am 38 years old and have never had a cup of coffee.

    2. I have had a few lattes in my time but no straight coffee.

    3. That explains a lot.

  6. I usually buy it for home about every 2 weeks--try to shop when it's on sale.

  7. Every time I need an enema.

Caffeine up the bung hole keeps a person trim & alert. Yet to do this, it is on my bucket list : a bourbon enema. I think G. G Allin did this.

  9. Seldom by the cup at coffee shops anymore, since leaving the big city for the Starbucks-free environs of the north woods. But in bean form? A lot. Heck, I'm having yet another cup as we speak. But I don't have caffeine receptors--seriously, I can drink a pot of extra-caf and go right to sleep. But I digress.

    1. North woods where? I have broken my Starbucks addiction but it has been painful. trying to drink Superstore dreck is wearing on my nerves. i now buy coffee about 2x a week if I am out and feeling tired. Otherwise, drinking two to four cups a day, mostly decaf. BOOOO! We make our own hemp milk and it tastes surprisingly good in coffee. I am changing my diet significantly, and this is the only slightly positive event-I can still drink coffee, drink it dairy free, and not wanna slit my own throat. Coffee kept me alive for about a decade...

Um, yeah, when I'm out? To quote Jason "J.D." Dean, that's the stupidest question I've ever heard.

  13. never, tea all the way!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I grind fresh for every pot... (yes, I'm an addict)
But I store the beans in the freezer, stocking up when they're on sale.
(Or if I happen to come across a must have blend)

I only drink black tea, don't care for the bitterness, acidity, stomach ache, from coffee that I get.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I have never purchased coffee.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I don't drink it but my sweetie does and we only make it on weekends..the can lasts about 2 months.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I buy about two cans a week. My Dad has to have his coffee ready at any time and since he broke his leg and can't really get around in the wheelchair, I just put the coffee pot in his room and rotate out gallon milk jugs full of cold water every day.

  20. Beans for home - couple times a year. Coffee shop - daily.

  21. Coffee makes me feel sick. Tea drinker here!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I just got a cup, actually. Venti iced americano with soy milk. Not nuts about Starbucks, but desperate times...

  23. I refuse to spend a dime with Starbucks because their employees have made fun of Deaf patrons and tried to have a group of Deaf patrons arrested for meeting at one of their shops.

    ReplyDelete
  24. At home I make 6 cups in the morning (which is really 3 cups ) so when I run out I will buy more. Or stock up when Folgers Black Silk or COlumbian is on sale. Outside of home? I treat myself to a dunkin iced usually 3x a month during the summer.Perfect for an after beach drink.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm another one who's never had a cup of coffee, ever.

    ReplyDelete
  26. We make espresso everyday and about twices pe week I'll buy a venti iced chai from Starbucks or on campus.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The undocumented workers who tend my coffee bean fields make sure I always have fresh roasted coffee at my beck and call. Since I pay them with money that we print (shhhhhh) ourselves, I never really have to 'buy' it like the rest of the commoners. Thanks for asking!

  28. Once in a blue moon. Diet Coke on the other hand...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Jeesus this is a stupid question. What's next how often I buy laundry detergent? Actually we need both right now so I'll go with just once. Today.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Running out of questions Enty?

    ReplyDelete
  31. If by "buy" you mean "drink" -- every day. If you mean when do I go to the store to buy coffe-- when I run out.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Drink 3 cups a day, buy a bag once a week.

    ReplyDelete
  33. One Starbucks Ristretto latte every morning. I love it so much. Its the only coffee I drink all day.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Never. Hate the stuff. Always have.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee and it costs more then 10 bucks in Cali, so I stock up whenever it's on sale or I have a store coupon. I probably go through a bag every 2 weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The only time I buy it is when I'm buying it for someone else. I don't drink coffee. Now black iced tea from Starbucks is a totally different story. At least a few times a day (I have several of my regular Starbucks that I go to that get it ready when they see me walk in, and if my boyfriend is getting one for me all he has to do is say "make it a Pattie special" and they know it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The best part about living in Sydney is there exists some of the best coffee in the world here. I live walking distance to three of the top roasters so coffee is a multiple time daily event. My limit is six espressos a day though.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yeah, huh? You mean buying a cup or a bag? I go through a bag a week or thereabouts. Hardly ever get to go to a cafe for the good stuff -- 4x a year?

    ReplyDelete
  39. coffee: 1/2 pot/day
    shit: 2x/day
    grocery shop; 1x/wk
    sex: 1-2 /week
    booze: 1-3 drinks/wk

There, we're all caught up. Now can we get back to gossip?!

    ReplyDelete
  40. 3/4 times a week. It used to be everyday, but have cut back$$.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Twice a day, which is almost $10 where I am. I need something to survive my job.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I have two homes. Here at the beach house, I use K-cups. At the other house we have a wonderful stand down the road and two gorgeous ladies make the best coffee. I go there several times a day.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I buy a bag of coffee every week. I drink a Starbucks latte, or iced coffee every Tuesday, and sometimes on Saturdays...and I go out for coffee with my friends once a week for sure sometimes twice...depending on our schedules.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I hope all of you realize that this is just a thinly veiled scouting mission for site ads. "How often do you think about auto insurance"? "Are your mortgage rates too high"? "Do you have enough life insurance"? Be prepared to answer these in future "Your Turn" posts. Suckers!

Ha ha! You said "eat out"

      Delete
    2. @B Smears: Yes. Although I don't eat out, I always enjoy hearing others share their experiences. I would reread those comments over and over and over and over.... I'm straight, but not not narrow!

      Delete
    3. @B: just one "not". I'm a stickler for correcting typos. If Enty would just delegate this task to the help, I might be a little more forgiving and less curious about who Rumer Williams is.

  51. Are you paying too much for health insurance?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Miss Mess: Do you think we could get some personal lubricant ads? I don't wanna have a mess of bottles of lousy product laying around.

I'm at 1.5x per day and it aint a baby back rib, so dry rub aint my first choice.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Would you know if a fancy restaurant secretly replaced your coffee with Folger's?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Is your lubricant effective enough to handle today's abundance of hardcore porn?

  58. Do you have unresolved issues regarding your time spent as a crack whore?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Today's porn is bad for lube sales. Amateur Russian Teen Anal in 720p is a far cry from VHS 70's bush and bad music. By the time you memorize a 30minute scene, it is like 7 pumps till finish.

I need the lube for when I close my eyes and conjure my own scenes from daily sightings, or the spank bank.

Yes I am battling sex addiction. Junkies got it easy, they can get pills or rehab through their insurance. Someone afflicted with my disease is ignored as the companies would rather hop me up on blood pressure meds and laser out my prostate than lemme have a $25 co pay for a monthly hooker.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Your argument is compelling and well founded. Since I make my own porn, it's hard for me to put myself in your pants. I do empathize, and hope that Enty will address the needs for a "What do you use to get off--what improvements would you like to see in the adult entertainment market--why aren't insurance companies helping fuel my depraved sexual fantasies" YOUR TURN. And fuck, MY TURN. Everyone should get a turn.

  61. How long should we wait until we head over to the Cute Animals post to talk about how fucking cute they are, and how beastiality has been unfairly and unjustly frowned upon by society. I know we don't engage in it, but sometimes you gotta stick up for the little (cute?) guy, no?

    ReplyDelete
  62. We should hijack the Your Turns for a week and ask our own questions. Nothing too crazy, as we want participation.

  63. daily but working on giving it up completely for green tea

  64. I'm in. Nothing would give me more pleasure. Hahahahaaaa! You know lots of things would (will), but let's start off slow and build up to a pounding, bed banging, ankle grabbing, thrusting, begging for mercy climax. Alone, we can annoy, anger, offend, and disgust. Together, there are no limits to what we can achieve.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Alone we are nothing but warriors. Two boots, 1 one keyboard and little progress.

Together we are an army. United in the name of chaos. Fortified by our hatred of MANsogyny and market research. Fueled by our sorrow at getting stiffed on some Amber Tamblyn books. Disgusted by the hypocrisy. Annoyed by the condescension. Perplexed by the humorless.

We maybe wounded along the way, but we shall never feel shamed and alone again. Today we are 2, but our #'s will swell. Joy and laughter are as addictive as booze and hookers, so our word will spread. Tomorrow 10. Next week? 100. Next month 1000!

Now, to make this pact official, I think we need to exchange butthole pix. Ladies first, Miss Mess.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I solemnly swear to uphold my duties. And now, I have to go to bed. The double vision from my nightly binge is too much--even for autocorrect. Until tomorrow, yours in solidarity, Kym
