Superman Is Single Again

It took less than two weeks for Henry Cavill and Kaley Cuoco's relationship to go bust. By my count it was 10 days. You know, I think that is probably a good thing. Ten days and they had several dates. They seemed to be into each other, but better to end it now than in a few months when someone is more likely to be really attached and get hurt more. Of course their spokespeople say the pair are still friends, and why not, they really did not move past that stage anyway. I think Henry is going to get back with his ex. I do get the feeling looking at this photo that Kaley was way more into Henry than he was with her. Just a guess.

  2. It actually looks like she is hiding her face. Probably because some dumbass was a few feet away shooting their every move. It is surprising that you don't hear about paparazzi getting their assets kicked more often.

  4. He is unnaturally good-looking. It is impossible to take a bad picture of that man. Frankly, he should probably not be in a relationship and just enjoy being single and ridiculously attractive.

    1. This is why I can't hate on man whores like Gerard Butler and Colin Farrel, I feel like it would just be a matter of being in the right place at the right time for it to be on. Henry Cavill is more than welcome to join.

  7. They ended this quickly because absolutely nobody was buying it. This is the first time I remember a PR relationship being so blatantly a setup from the get-go. Yeah, there's often speculation about whether relationships are simply for PR, but this one was not believable on any level.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Leave Kaley alone.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Because writing a gossip blog makes you an expert on relationships?

Him I am about to pull a Jay and Silent Bob on you. Quit with that sh*t.

  10. I wanted these two love birds to work out! The paps can suck it. If only Superman could laser beam the paps? How cool would that be!

    Zap the Pap!

That's my new sticker slogan for the day! And I just trademarked it, so no stealing! ;)

  11. Apparently CrowdGather is hiring body language experts now.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Why would this be a PR relationship? For whose sake? Would she be bearding for him? (I always suspect every extremely gorgeous and buffed man of being gay, ha)

    ReplyDelete

yep, leave Kaley alone. Methinks there was too much of a show with this, like it was a bearding arrangement, Michael K even pointed it out, that ok we GET IT you're a COUPLE NOW. Why be soooooo pap friendly and look at us look at us, if that's the truth?

    ReplyDelete
  14. And shouldn't you (as a straight man) be saying... Yeah!!! Hot Sexy Kaley is single again! That's what I would think if I was a straight man.

    Team Kaley all the way!

*paid for by Go Kaley Go and Zap the Pap funds*

  15. Kaley doesn't need that flash in the pan. Good thing she didn't waste too much time on him.

  16. I honestly don't think he is gay. I know it sounds crazy, but I really dont. While I do think there is a lot of hiding in the closet in hollywood, I also think gays often think everyone is gay (hence Michael K saying that-who I absolutely love).

He is clearly very attractive, but I don't get the "im a gay guy playing straight" sort of uncomfortableness in him. He doesn't seem to be overcompensating either which so many people in the closet do.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Is it wrong that I was glad when I heard the news? He is smoking hot.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Total PR set up through and through. To elevate both their names and careers. Don't think he needed it as much as she does so he clipped her. Probably embarrassed they got called out on that photo op.

  19. Datalounge never fails to provide the "he's a gay" amusement:

"Keram knows that Jake Gyllenhaal met Henry Cavill at London's Groucho Club while there filming "Prince of Persia," and a torrid two-month affair quickly commenced. Jake flew to Dublin to see Cavill, where "The Tudors" is shot, three weekends in a row via private charter for a series of 48-hour romps. The fling ended civilly, and things may start to heat up again now that Henry is in Keram's home country of Canada filming his latest picture."

    ReplyDelete
  20. Aw, that's a pity. I love these two together. Gorgeous couple.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I read on datalounge that it ended far from civilly...Jake saw a used condom in Henry's trash. They had differing expectations on the exclusivity of their relationship. There are also pics of Henry with men in gay bars in his earlier days, and while he could be a hetero hanging out with gay friends, I couldn't imagine a hetero posing the way he did with those guys. It's a body language thing...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Isn't datalounge a low rent Casablanca wannabe?
Not sure, certainly don't want to get my 'everyone who is attractive is gay' sites mixed up.

Agreed It's Just U, they are 2 gorgeous people and it looks like they had a blast together.

    ReplyDelete
  23. What Kristin said. I have no idea if Cavill is gay, but a PR relationship isn't always about one person bearding for the other. Sometimes it's just to get them more press - 2 celebrities in a couple is better than 1 as far as attention goes.

Either way, total blatant setup...Go to Lainey, she makes it pretty cut and dry. Man of Steel and Big Bang are both Warner Bros, and when have you ever seen Cuoco out papped EVER, then all of a sudden she's with this dude and she's all over? It's so obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  24. How obvious?
If I worked for a company and someone else worked for that company and we met at a company picnic..no one would bat an eye.
I'm not saying it wasn't PR, just saying it's happened.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Henry is not gay, he is British.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's about the fact that they were also papped after going out on like 2 dates with "sources close to the couple" talking to People and whoever else about it. And you think paps just show up randomly at some grocery store and just happen to find a couple that's been "dating" for a week? That doesn't happen. That's a textbook call the paps setup. Come on, gossip experts. Even I know that. Paparazzi photos are so much more calculated than everyone thinks...they just want you to think it's all spontaneous.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't think he's gay either, and agree with commenter DontRain - it was PR relationship that nobody bought so was abandoned.

The movie was a success, so I don't get why this was deemed necessary after the fact, unless the PR team doesn't think the woman he was dating is Hollywood enough?

    ReplyDelete
  28. She couldn't compete with Gina Carano. Not many can. Those that try have the bruises to show for it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It could just be as simple as they met- were attracted- boned and decided to quit it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Gina Carano spoke to Kaley in a nice way I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @dontrain you are forgetting ellen page and askars.

    ReplyDelete
  32. They set up those pap shots and she's been calling them ever since.

    ReplyDelete
  33. He is so hot...but is he straight? Does anyone know? I haven't heard any rumors yet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think SOME PEOPLE need to stop relying on MK and Lainey for the 'scoop'

You folks remind me of the people made fun of for following Fox News.

    And this...THIS...is SERIOUS BUSINESS.

    ReplyDelete
  35. As an aside, I LIKE CAPS

    ReplyDelete
  36. All those pap shots were by the same photog...as in he was contracted and notified...I feel badly for Henry if he is gay, which I have to say I think he is...but thinking he is gay will not stop me from seeing Superman. This was a PR disaster for both of them. Did they really think we would buy them at the GROCERY store? With Henry in his leather shoes? Come on...I like both of them and I hope they stop with the stupid bearding stuff and just go meet people they like and fall in love for real.

  38. I stand my my opinion that it was a PR hookup move to get the BBT Comic book crowd to go see his movie. It fizzled before anything happened and the went their separate ways.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I LIKE CAPS, TOO!!!

BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I LOVE CHEESE!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Do you honestly hold the thought that in ORDER TO GET NERDS WHO LOVE SUPERMAN to go see the movie, they had to tap in to the BBT audience?

I'm certainly not just curious, I'm very curious.

  41. I like you mousie.

  42. I LOVE SWISS! No stinky cheese, though, if you please! Except feta. I LOVE feta!!!

  43. Muenster ftw! Paps photograph new couples all the time. They print nothing but nice things. When they break up though, it is insult city. He's gay! She wants to boost her career, despite being a lead on a hit show! Give me a break. People date short term all of the time. Being hot and muscular doesn't equal gay. Even if Casablanca lite says so.

The title of the movie Superman attracts nerds. He wouldn't need a "fake" relationship to do so.

She's what, 26? 26 year olds date. Get the fuck over it "Enty".

  45. I don't think a PR relationship means being gay. I didn't realize they were even dating until this week and now they are broken up so I guess it wasn't true love.

I don't think the Brits are as worried about having the public know they are gay as much as Americans. He may be in a big movie now but he's been working for years and could have come out if he was.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't get the PR/fake relationship. They were papped together but he's in the biggest summer movie! He's going to be papped taking a wizz if they can (and probably sell it as proof he's gay). Ridiculously hot guy dates ridiculously hot girl, he must be gay.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm stuck on this. So when the next Batman movie comes out they will have Christian Bale separated from his wife and dating a bloodsucker? (Sookie?)
    Makes zero sense.
Though Robert Pattison tossing his naughty bits towards Bale,,yeah, I can see that.

    1. Kaley, is gorgeous, natural, comes off as genuine and fun. After all the California fake, smug bitches, filled with silicone, Botox, and any enhancement you can buy, then the women develops the bitch "better than you" attitude. Or the infamous "do you know who I am?" At the end of everyone's career, except for the rare legends, most actresses are long forgotten.

Honestly, I have no idea who Henry Superman guy is, until Kaley started PR dating him. I really was sad, thought she was above that, and knew she could do better. At our house, The Big Bang Theory show is called "The Penny Show". The Dad rules the house. And Dad thinks Penny is phenomenal.
Well, no harm, no foul. She seems like a great girl. I'm sure her parent's are proud of her. Hope she doesn't fall into the Hollywood trap of sleazy men, drugs, low self-esteem. Every career has its highs and lows. It rebounds in time.

  71. Cheese is nutritious food made mostly from the milk of cows but also other mammals, including sheep, goats, buffalo, reindeer, camels and yaks. Around 4000 years ago people have started to breed animals and process their milk. That's when the cheese was born.

  72. Pecorino is a term used to define Italian cheeses made from 100% sheep’s milk. However, the American counterpart of the cheese is made from cow’s milk. Of the four Pecorino cheeses that have received Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status under European Union law, Pecorino Romano is one of the most ancient types of cheese as well as the most famous outside of Italy. As per legislation, production of Pecorino Romano is allowed only on the islands of Sardinia, Lazio and in the Tuscan Province of Grosseto. All these varieties differ from each other, depending on how much they have aged.

As the name suggests, the history of Pecorino Romano dates back to the Roman times when it was a part of the staple diet of soldiers at war. Roman authors, including Varro, Pliny the Elder, Hippocrates and Columella have mentioned about the cheese & its production technique, in their works. Even today, the cheese is made using only traditional methods in the unique areas of origin. Dry-salted by hand, the wheels get a salting numerous times, to deliver a fabulous taste. Its lengthy aging time from eight to 12 months results in a dry and granular texture and a strong taste. When young, the cheese has a soft and rubbery texture with sweet and aromatic flavor. The flavor becomes sharper and smokier when aged for eight months or longer.

Pecorino Romano is one of most widely used, sharper alternatives to Parmesan cheeses. Because of the hard texture and sharp & salty flavor, Pecorino Romano is an excellent grating cheese over pasta dishes, breads and baking casseroles. Although, the use of the cheese is limited because of its extreme saltiness. Pair it with a glass of big, bold Italian red wine or a light beer.

  73. Brie is the best known French cheese and has a nickname "The Queen of Cheeses". Brie is a soft cheese named after the French region Brie, where it was originally created. Several hundred years ago, Brie was one of the tributes which had to be paid to the French kings.

In France, Brie is very different from the cheese exported to the United States. "Real" French Brie is unstabilized and the flavor is complex when the surface turns slightly brown. When the cheese is still pure-white, it is not matured. If the cheese is cut before the maturing process, it will never develop properly. Exported Brie, however, is stabilized and never matures. Stabilized Brie has a much longer shelf life and is not susceptible to bacteriological infections.

  75. The Manchego is produced in the La Mancha region of Spain, which is also home to Don Quixote. It is made from unpasteurized sheep's milk. It is one of the popular cheeses from Spain, made from sheep's milk. It also comes under the PDO guidelines.

The traditional use of grass moulds leaves a distinctive, characteristic zigzag pattern on the Manchego cheese. Authentic Manchego is only made from the Manchego sheep's milk. Manchego cheese is made from both pasteurized and unpasteurized milk. The farmhouse version is produced from unpasteurized milk while the industrial version is made from pasteurized milk.

The rind is inedible with a distinctive, traditional herringbone basket weave pattern, pressed on it. A typical ear wheat pattern is pressed onto the top and bottom wheels of the cheese. There are specific differences in Manchego cheeses, depending on their aging period.

Semi Curado - Young Manchego cheese is aged around 3 months are supple and moist. The flavor is fruity, grass, hay with a tangy note.

Curado - Manchego cheese aged for 6 months acquires a caramel and nutty flavor. It has distinct acidity.

Viejo - Manchego cheese aged for a year becomes crumbly in texture while the interior of the cheese acquires a butterscotch color. It has a sweet, lingering taste.

Manchego cheeses are best paired with a sherry. Cheeses similar to Manchego are called 'Machego like cheeses', but the producers cannot legally name the cheese as Manchego.

  76. This is one of the best British cheeses, worthy of a sonnet. It is a quintessential English cheese, suitable not only for celebrations, but also to perk up everyday dishes. It is the only British cheese to have a Certification Trade Mark and an EU Protected Name.

The Stilton cheese can only be produced in the three counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. The cheese is made from locally produced cow's pasteurised milk. It is made in a cylindrical shape and allowed to form its own coat or crust. The distinctive feature of this cheese is magical blue veins radiating from the centre of the cheese.

Traditionally, this cheese has been paired with sherry and port wine. It is also a good choice to go with walnuts, crackers, biscuits and breads.

  77. Denmark's most famous cheese, Cream Havarti, also called as Havarti or Flødeis Havarti (in Danish) is a deliciously mild, very creamy, natural, semi-soft cheese.

This interior-ripened cheese is aged for around three months. The cheese has tiny holes throughout the paste with cream to yellow in color. The cheese can be mild to sharp in flavor and buttery depending on its aging.

The Havarti is different from Cream Havarti. Havarti is made from high-pasteurized cow's milk. Cream Havarti, is prepared by the same original recipe but is enriched with extra cream. Cream Havarti usually ripens very little and has a smooth texture.

Cream Havarti is also available with different flavors such as caraway, dill, cranberry, garlic, basil, coconut, red pepper. Havarti and Cream Havarti both are table cheeses which can be sliced or grilled. It can be served with fruit and wine.

  78. American cheese is processed cheese made from a blend of milk, milk fats and solids, with other fats and whey protein concentrates. At first it was made from a mixture of cheeses, more often than not Colby and Cheddar. Since blended cheeses are no longer used, it cannot be legally called “cheese” and has to be labeled as “processed cheese”, “cheese product“, etc. Sometimes, instead of the word cheese, it is called as "American slices" or "American singles". Under the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, American cheese is a type of pasteurized processed cheese.

Depending on the percentage of cheese versus additives, the taste and texture of American cheese may vary. Also, the color may change from orange, yellow to white as decided by the food manufacturer.

Processed American cheese is sold in three varieties – individually wrapped cheese slices, small pre-sliced blocks and large blocks. Before cheese slices were invented, block American cheese was the only one available and hence is also considered "classic" or "traditional" American cheese.

American cheese though criticized for its high fat and sodium content is still used in regular cooking as it melts well and contains a good amount of calcium and protein.

  79. Marie Harel, created the original Camembert cheese from raw milk, in Normandy, France, in 1971. Today, however, a very small percentage of producers make cheese from raw milk with the same process as Marie Harel would have used. Those who produce cheese using Marie Harel's method, can legally call their cheese Camembert Normandie under the AOC guidelines. However, the production of Camembert cheese has now transcended the AOC designation. Very good varieties of Camembert cheese made from pasteurised milk can be found in Normandy today. The best of them is the Camembert Le Châtelain.

The fresh Camembert cheese is bland, hard and crumbly in texture. Young Camembert has a milky and sweet taste. As the cheese matures it forms a smooth, runny interior and a white bloomy rind that is typical to Camenbert cheese. It has a rich, buttery flavor. The rind is bloomy white caused by a white fungus, called penicillium candidum. The rind is meant to be eaten with the cheese.

This cheese is best paired with a light red wine such as Beaujolais, Chenin Blanc, St Emilion, St Estephe or traditionally a glass of Normandy cider.

  80. Abbaye de Belloc is also known as 'Abbaye Notre-Dame de Belloc' since it was produced by the Benedictine monks at the 'Abbaye de Notre Dame de Belloc' in the Pays Basque region of Aquitaine, France. They used sheep milk available in the locality and followed a cheese making process that dates back to 3000 years.

Abbaye de Belloc is a flat wheel shaped traditional, farmhouse, unpasteurized, semi-hard cheese made from sheep's milk. It has a natural, crusty, brownish rind with patches of red, orange and yellow. The rind is marked with tiny craters.

The cheese has a firm, dense, rich and creamy texture. The taste resembles burnt caramel and there is a distinctive lanolin aroma. Ageing process of the cheese ranges from four to ten months. The younger wheels are made in December while the older in July. Both types of cheese wheels are sent to the market in April.
