Rehab Facility Says No To Paris Jackson

It says a lot about the time we live in when a rehab facility that would be a perfect match for Paris Jackson won't take her because they are worried about an influx of paps invading their facility. Considering the facility is in Utah, I'm assuming that it is the same one Lindsay Lohan famously attended several years ago and was subjected to intense amount of coverage everyday. I don't think it would be as bad as they think. Paris would be a nice subject to get a picture of while she is there, but, there is not this crazy level of wanting to know everything she is doing and I think people genuinely want her to get better. She is obviously very sick if UCLA will not let her be released to her home, but only to another facility. One thing I don't understand is that according to TMZ, Debbie Row is the one searching for the proper facility. She is not a guardian. I know she is Paris' mother, but does anyone else think it is strange that Debbie is doing this work and not the guardians?

  1. Rehab facility for depression? Am I missing something?

    1. Patty mb eupamism for intensive therapy for sucidal thoughts and cutting. And i have to say, i dont think her issues would hv been less if her father was alive. He was a very sick man, mentally and physically. Dont think he wld hv been helpful, prob wld hv drugged her up. Its what he knows. Thats why this lawuit is bullshit. Michael knew what he was doing, no one forced him. Dr conrad already in jail for malpractice or murder. Its done as far as im concerned.

  2. Her guardians are only interested in searching for money.

  3. How about--As long as someone's getting Paris professional help, and cares about her, why question it? We know Paris' legal guardian is elderly, and the rest of that family can't be trusted.

  4. No, not strange. What is strange is the Enties fascination with covering teenage girls.

  5. The fact that Debbie is trying to find her a rehab facility despite not being her guardian makes me think that of all the pathetic "grown-ups" involved, she's the one who cares most about Paris' actual well-being.

    1. Exactly, Cathy. I don't think anything is weird about it. I think that it's the best thing to happen. Paris needs help and it seems Debbie is the only one attempting to get it for her.

  6. My God, this poor child. I don't know why, but she really pulls at my heartstrings. What must it be like to not have anyone you can completely count on?

  7. I feel for this kid, and with everything coming out about her father and the fragile state she's in UCLA must really fear for her life...
And during all this her brother is attending events with Grandma...what a family.

    1. Misch- right? All acting like nothing is amiss. What a family is right!

  8. I just want to hug this kid. She's stood up to so much to protect her family, and it really does seem like there's no one there for her.

  9. Anyone who has seen those YouTube vids of her should be able to tell that she really needs some help. They were a cry for help. Don't know what her bio Mom is up to but hope her motives can be trusted

  10. If a rahab place won't take Paris, then it probably means she doesn't need rehab. The poor girl obviously has issues if UCLA isn't releasing her, but addiction may not be one of them. At least I hope so.

And if Debbie is the only one willing to do the legwork to get her actual help, then good.

  11. I have always got the feeling that Debbie is just after money. Michael has been dead for a little while now and her money is probably running out. Its not like she is ever consistantly in the kids life just every few years she shows up. Prince saw the light a long time ago but Paris is said to be the more emotional one and Debbie seems to be taking advantage of that.

  12. These kids are less than 5 years away from coming into hundreds of millions of dollars. It's no wonder that the birth parents, who made no attempt at being in their lives when they were kids (and everyone thought Michael was next to broke), have come forward now.

I expect the Jackson's to start becoming super supportive as well. Katherine can't live forever, and when she goes, so does her monthly payments.

    2. To be fair @Nicola, do you really think Debbie Rowe would have been able to see them while MJ was alive? I don't. The woman rented out her womb, and probably sold her ova, but she did it for a large sum of money. I don't think it's a stretch to think that she might genuinly want contact with her bio kid/s now.

  13. Debbie is working with Katherine and the family--and since she is close to Paris, it seems like this is a collaborative effort.

If she is the one Paris has reached out to and feels close to, then probably it is more likely that Paris will go more willingly.
From what I've read, Katherine is not able to provide much discipline and that Debbie is the one who has been setting limits for her.

I don't think Debbie is in it for the money. It looks like Paris needs to be some place out of view of the media and offline for a while to get her head straight.

I saw a clip of a home video they showed at the trial of the kids when they were little and Michael was alive--and it makes me so sad that she has gone through all this. She seemed like such a sweet, vulnerable child.

  14. Leave it to the Lohan fiasco to ruin a facility for other patients. I agree that it wouldn't be the media circus it was with Lindsay.

  15. I'm sorry but I don't trust any of them. If Debbie Rowe had been a repsonsible surrogate she would of spent enough time with Michael to know he had no business raising children. She wanted the money, they all do. Those kids need to emancipate themselves, find a nice family in the midwest to raise them and not let anyone (including the family raising them) touch that money. I know that will never happen but these children are an example of what happens when people indulge a eccentric child molesting drug addict by giving him three babies. Disgusting.

  16. I don't blame any facility that would reject someone for fear of paps. There are other, non-celebrity people trying to get help so why should they be subjected to that chaos.

  17. I was actually at the same place she's in now...UCLA was good to me, too bad she can't stay there. I was only 15 years old, but I had tried to commit suicide and was ordered by a judge to go there. I'm glad I did, it was a positive experience.

  18. Row may be taking the lead because the family may rightly or wrongly see as having some insights into or professional connections to people in the psychiatric community.

If for the moment we assume she became a surrogate for altruistic reasons; then we should accept her reaching out to the kids as also being altruistic.

  19. It could also be that they don't want to pay for her to go, and the place in Utah won't take her for free just because she's Michael Jackson's daughter. Some celebs and their families think that way.
