ReplyDeleteSurprised my grandfather at the airport after his WWII Honor Flight to DC--an absolutely heartwarming experience. (and the first time I saw him cry :)

DeleteI accompanied my dad on an Honor Flight in June of 2011. I felt so very fortunate & honored. It was the most amazing experience and so glad that he was able to make the trip because he passed away the following January.
