After having to celebrate her birthday in rehab, you know that Lindsay Lohan wants to get crazy when she gets out at the beginning of August. Her first big chance comes at her welcome home dinner which Dina Lohan will probably throw for her and where Dina will probably get hammered in front of her daughter to set the tone of the kind of temptation that Lindsay will face everyday from her mom. Second though on the list of temptation will be Venice, Italy. For some reason known only to them, The Venice Film Festival has decided to show the movie The Canyons which is the pseudo porn movie that Lindsay made with the real porn star James Deen. Lindsay wants to go and if she goes, I say there is no way she can make it through two weeks of parties and rich men on yachts without using. None. Yes, she will back on her Adderall, which is bad enough, but I know she will say to herself that she deserves the time to party and that it is Europe and that she is having to promote her movie and it is hard and she is having to meet men all the time and it is hard and that she will be sober when she gets back to LA or NYC. No way she makes it through Venice without using. I don't see it. It would also not surprise me to see her go on a bender for the ages while she is there.
It's Lohan so what you say is true...but this could kill her after rehab ....if I was her mom I'd stop her from going...but alas that won't happen

ReplyDeleteI wish her the best----shes only human---if it was your neighbors daughter with the same record/problems you would not be wishing death or misfortune on her---you would be wishing her well----she needs to promote her movies or no one will hire her and she would then have to get back in the sex trade industry----its not like she can go get a job at the Olive Garden with the press etc.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I definitely wish she'd pull it together now. It's weird to kind of see someone grow up; albeit on tv, movies, and in the press, only to watch them circle the drain for an eternity. And at the end of the day, she's still fairly young. If Lindsay could get it together, she could have a good life still.

ReplyDeleteThere was so little chance of her turning out any different with those scum buckets as parents and being forced to support her family when she was barely out of pampers. That noted, I cannot stand her. Don't want her to kill herself with addictions, though.

ReplyDeleteThis is her opportunity to join the 27 club. But isn't she still on probation? If so, I doubt the judge will allow her to travel abroad.
ReplyDelete@seachica, seeing the 27 club stuff about LiLo is a minor gripe of mine. As much as dying at 27 is nothing to aim for, the 'club' is full of amazingly talented musicians - not actors (those talented or ... ahem ... otherwise). Lindsay simply isn't eligible!

I have always thought as you do - she'll live. Badly, desperately, pathetically, and holding on with a surprisingly iron grip. But I think she'll live for a long time yet. Which, tbh, I wish for everyone.

ReplyDeleteA part of me is wishing she'll have a rdj type rebirth - look at how far down he was and how fantastically he came back. I just don't see her making the changes because she doesn't feel she has a problem.

Maybe she will visit a dentist while in rehab to fix her teeth too .. should be interesting to see. Betts that she will be in trouble within 75 days.
ReplyDeleteWho knows, after three months of waking up without a hangover she might decide that she likes it. But you're right about the film festival. Even if she WANTS to stay sober, it is going to be so very very hard in an atmosphere like that.

ReplyDeleteIs this where she OD's? Not that I would ever wish that on her. She's got deeper issues than what a 90 day stay will help. It requires strength and discipline and as someone who has struggled, it's difficult when you're especially tempted. Venice will do that.
