James Gandolfini Was Getting A Divorce

According to The Enquirer, at the time of his death, James Gandolfini was in the process of getting a divorce and that he was just going through the motions in his marriage to his second wife and that his former girlfriend, sex therapist, Lora Somoza (above) was the object of his affection. Apparently James wanted to get back together with her, but she said she was in a relationship. Someone out there, probably Somoza, told The Enquirer that James was headed for divorce and that while he loved his daughter with his wife, he did not love his wife any longer. Lora has been interviewed by numerous tabloids over the past few weeks and I think a lot of people  are surprised they never got married. I think she could not handle his excess. I think it is interesting that a sex therapist was hired as an assistant to a director of a movie and that is how James and Lora met. Sounds like a neat way to hide someone on the payroll.

  5. Hi everyone! Just wanted to chime in and say some of these posts are as tasteless as MY pit. I'll check back in later. I'm off to help MY bf build a fence.

  8. Just because she may be a sex therapist does not mean she's turning tricks.

  9. I just don't get the mutiny here. Sure, this Enty is extra snarky, but it is a gossip site. If this blog offends you so much, you don't have to read it. No offense to you all because I do like you all, but damn. All I read are complaints anymore.

  10. I've figured out what's going on, friends. The Enties only get boosts when the trolls appear OR when they say such offensive things in their posts that everyone comments to tell them off for being menopausal bitches.

Unfortunately, the best response is to stop commenting/reading at all.

  11. Maybe she was on the payroll to keep a sex addict director under control? Naw, that's too logical. She was definitely givin' up the nappy dugout for dough.

  13. Everybody is trying to canonize Gandolfini when in fact he was a jerk. He was a bad tempered bully who led a very selfish, self centered life. That he portrayed one memorable character on a TV show seems to excuse his behavior for most.

    1. I totally see how u get that, harry, but how does that square with almost all his fellow actors loving and adoring him? Perhaps he was both to diff people

    2. auntliddy, it is part of the job discription of an actor to publicly "love and adore" colleagues that have passed, even though their personal feelings might be the exact opposite. Gandolfini hsd a history of unprofessional behavior on the set of the Sopranos. He would be absent for days, totally messing up production schedules. Some would chalk it up to artistic temperment, but in reality he was boozing and drugging and whoring. All good pasttimes to be sure, but not during working hours.

  17. That is quite an awkward picture. Neither one of them look at ease.

  18. The only problem I have with this site is when Enty posts something that turns out false. Case in point, Alec Baldwin's wife did not tweet during James' funeral, it was made up by the Mall who has since admitted it, but was presented here as fact. I've notice this is becoming more prevalent here. So now I take everything I read here with a grain of salt, but many celebs have been slurred for no cause which is a same.

And please note I am NOT defending Alec's reaction or his assholicness!

I still come here everyday, love it, but I hope others don't immediately jump to the conclusion that all the posts are fact.

  19. The man's dead.

If it's true, I'm glad they were still married when he passed so the wife gets whatever she can to take care of his daughter she will raise by herself.

Further, enty specifically states that everything on here is not necessarily true OR accurate.

  22. "givin' up the nappy dugout "..Oh Amber..that's gotta be the most interesting euphemism for vagina I have ever heard. Score!

  23. Have to agree with Harry Knuckles. JG was by all accounts a selfish, self-destructive asshole just like 99% of the rest of Hollywood. He doesn't elevate to sainthood by dying - even unexpectedly. What pisses me off is that nobody will ever talk smack about a person while they're alive but they line up to do it after they're dead. If someone's behaviour needs to be called out, it should definitely be while they're alive and might benefit from it.

  24. Do you suppose a sex therapist would be hired for Sopranos because of all the psychotic sex going on?? Janice and Ritchie? Carmela and Furio? Christopher and his women?? I'm sure her knowledge was very valuable to the show. There was at least as much psychotic sex as there was violence!

  25. I love the term "nappy dugout"-have not heard that since high school! Thanks for the memory @Amber.

  26. But Carmela and Furio's passion was never fulfilled. This is just stupid. The man is dead and defenseless. Anything to make a buck. And just tell me who would not benefit from sex therapy. Try it and see.

  28. I'm kind of over the sainthood of James Gandolfini too. I remember when he had tons of stories in Page Six about his rotten and unprofessional behavior during the Sopranos. Makes me wonder if John Revolting really liked him at all, since he skipped the funeral.

By the way, this same thing happened to John Ritter when he unexpectedly died. He is now a saint too with his past being whitewashed.

    ReplyDelete
  29. P.S. I noticed Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts skipped his funeral too.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Henriette, John Ritter wasn't a saint? I thought everybody loved him?

  31. Sorry to hijack here, but what's the dirt on John Ritter?! Never heard of any.

  32. This explains why she was out shopping the around the time of his funeral and the photos were posted. I knew something was up. She clearly was not grieving.

Enty, I think you're right on with the observation about it sounds like a good way to hide someone on the payroll. Plus they look guilty as hell in this picture, what's the problem? What are they hiding? Don't want to be photographed together? Hmmmm...I wondered about him and his wife, they didn't seem quite right for each other and didn't look happy in photos except their wedding day. I don't find this too shocking. a man with that kind of money and talent doesn't have to stay in a relationship where he's unhappy. I can't fault him.

  34. Makes sense to me. He hit on one of my friends about a year after he got married. He was in Cleveland's Little Italy during the Feast of the Assumption and kept trying to convince her to come to his hotel room. He was creepy. He came up and smelled her hair. Ick.

  35. Ugh....THIS woman....they had a horrible relationship...I doubt he was going to leave his wife and baby daughter to be back with THIS woman...this is probably her made up fantasy and a way to sell a story to make $$$...ugh again.
