Eileen Brennan, an actress who had worked in show business for more than 20 years before gaining her widest attention as a tough Army captain in both the film and television versions of “Private Benjamin,” died on Sunday at her home in Burbank, Calif. She was 80.
She was a funny lady. Good journey, my friend.
ReplyDeleteVery sad. May she rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteSo sad. Time to watch "Clue" again, to honor her memory. (Love that movie!)
ReplyDeleteClue is the best! I can recite that movie from memory!
ReplyDeleteI loved her as Madame Zandra with a Z on Will and Grace, she will be missed.
ReplyDeleteChrist.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was the only one who liked "Clue".
That and "Zorro: The Gay Blade" are easily two of the greatest underrated/misunderstood comedy classics of all time.
R.I.P., Mrs. Peacock.
I hope they serve monkey brains where you're at now...
Definitely not the only one who likes the movie "Clue", that movie is awesome
ReplyDeleteRIP
ReplyDeleteBTW, if you haven't seen her in Murder By Death, you're missing out on a priceless performance.
Love her!!! Clue and Murder By Death you just can't beat
ReplyDeleteAt least she said she'd had a great life and was ready to pass on. The part where she said she was lonely being a housebound pensioner was sad.
ReplyDeleteLoved her, she had a rough time of it...RIP .
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, Clue and Murder By Death make a great double feature. Comedy genius.
ReplyDeleteWhoops...I thought she died a few years back. Got hit by a car walking home from dinner with Goldie Hawn or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI like Clue and Pvt Benjamin. Sad.
ReplyDeleteRIP
She was awesome mean as Jack's acting coach Zondra on Will & Grace. Loved her.
ReplyDeleteShe was in The Sting! Best movie ever!
