Blind Items Revealed
April 18, 2013
This A list singer got her hands on some acid that was not her normal fare a few weeks ago. As a result, she can't remember the words to about half her songs and now needs a teleprompter on stage to help remind her.
Rihanna
I think everybody got this one. Stupid girl is not going to have a career much longer.
ReplyDeleteOr even a life, smh.
DeleteJayzzee will get tired of pumping this slut shortly.
ReplyDeleteI think jay z likes rhianna acting crazy, makes Beyonce look perfect.
ReplyDeleteHanna, im no fan of bey, but she shows up on time and does the show people came to see, so props for that at least.
ReplyDeleteRiri has huge death wish- just consumed by self hate. Its sad, and i wish her recovery.
True. I guess it just makes me wonder if he's given up on rhi rhi all together
DeleteSometimes you just cant save people. Its heartbreaking.
DeleteWhat? She has songs with lyrics? Learn somethin new every day.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel bad for her or for any of the other "stars" doing drugs "going through shit"
ReplyDeleteThere's been enough of them living fast and dying ridiculous deaths that they should know better. I don't care abo Rihanna's trauma and the high price of fame blah blah blah. Drugs are drugs and everyone knows what happens. There's people out there with real problems
^^THIS^^ totally.

ReplyDeleteThis blind sounds like BS to me...I've done acid plenty of times, and have never still been forgetful weeks later.
ReplyDeleteI know all experiences are different, but still.....
As an undergrad in the 80s, I could not pronounce "civilization" and I forgot the names of the rooms in the fraternity I lived in. Could not say "dining room" or "sleeping porch" for several months. It was weird.
ReplyDeleteOur only source for LSD was a chemist who would make batches of 500 hits at a time.

ReplyDeleteRight there with you Ruby. Between myself and dozens of friends, with 100s of trips between us, I have never heard of any first hand accounts of a bad trip or lingering after effects.
ReplyDeleteNext day I feel worn out and dippy, but nothing past that.
I had a friend with a dead-end job and a crappy boyfriend who once got really sad while tripping, but otherwise I have never had a "bad trip" or seen one. Of course, now I'm not a drug user because of my inability to regulate drug use, so that's a different matter.
ReplyDelete@Count....
ReplyDeleteExactly. I have had that icky ate-up feeling for about 3 days, max, but my brain has never Swiss cheesed before.
I have seen someone on a bad trip, but it was more than just acid.
ACID? Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteand just an aside; Jay is not NEARLY as hands on with Rihanna as you think, he's not pulling the strings on this one.
Hollywood Dime: if you take some, you may very well see, or even become, J. C.
DeletePeople still do acid?!
ReplyDeleteI remember long long ago kids, like back in the 80's *wink wink* the folk lore of bad acid trips.. used to freak us all out. I know it kept me from trying it.
Talk about a throwback, I haven't heard about anyone frying their brain with it in forever.
This girl.. it is getting harder and harder to root for her. I really wish she would get some help.
Why root for Rihanna, though? She sucks up too much oxygen in an industry that has only so much room for a hot female voice. If she dropped off the stage, a hundred other talented singers would get more breaks.
ReplyDeleteReal people have issues with drugs, in n out.
ReplyDeleteRihanna already sounds stoned when she "sings". I have no idea why she is so popular.
I am sick and tired of Rihanna's crap. I like what Barton said, move over and give other great singers a chance. she's been milking the sympathy wagon for years now after the Difficult Brown beatdown, and then she's flaunting her fuckbuddy relationship in our faces for years, I'm sick of it. Her drug abuse, her glorification of strippers, making it rain, talking about her money. Bitch be GRATEFUL. That's OUR hard earned money in your pocket. Stop standing up little kids, show some gratitude towards your public and start acting like a real Stah. Professionalism, class, gratitude, appreciation, keeping to a schedule, charity, charity and more charity, not associating with woman beaters, not objectifying stippers and yourself with g's, youre not one and you never will be, take off that damn veiled beanie that the dumbasses are wearing, and be a professional, otherwise, prepare to see everything you've worked for, disappear. See RDJ for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWEEKS later and her memory is still shot? That was some bad stuff she got!
ReplyDeleteI don't think Jay-Z gives a shit about her anymore, he probably figures he can't handle her. He is probably right. She doesn't seem the kind who wants to change her behavior.
She's going to have to step up her crazy game if she's going to keep up with Amanda!
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell kinda acid was that I've never had that problem... I think maybe someone gave her something else and called it acid.
ReplyDeletegood girl gone bad
ReplyDeleteWhat Nicole said, @Ruby, & @CountJ: My experience was back in late-80s, but never saw proper bona-fide acid cause memory issues &c. A bad trip can be triggered by severe psych issues, or traumatic incidents that weave their way into someone's trip. Saw just one 'bad trip' myself, but with gentle treatment, the obsessive pattern receded with the effects of the drug.
ReplyDeleteIn HS i went thru 10k mikes of pure acid in less than 6 months, memorized Keats' Ode to a Nightingale for Eng Lit extra-credit & later on, Bk I of Paradise Lost. Nothing useful for a resume, but sad to see how acid gets a bad rap when prescription drugs abuse + booze inflict so much more damage.
Rihanna's case seems more like that of a drinker & polydrug abuser. Hard-core use of benzodiazepines, alcohol, & weed will also lead to memory loss, lack of focus, & difficulty with tracking time (all those late gigs?).
Completely agree about it being sad that acid has such a bad rap, when prescription meds are deemed harmless. It's such a joke.
DeleteK mad : agree. It sounds more the result of polysubstance abuse.
DeleteI believe this.
ReplyDeleteI took some crazy-strong stuff, homemade from a lab in Austin back in the 80s on a visit to South Padre Island, and it was the longest craziest trip ever. It lasted 3 solid days, much of which were spent out of my mind alternately laughing and crying. It was frightening and way more intense than anything I'd ever had previously.
Needless to say, That was the very last trip for me. I've had Flashbacks galore for yrs. There is really such a thing as this kind of acid & I totally believe Ri could easily get her hands on some if she wanted.
Sounds like acid laced with GHB, no?
ReplyDeleteI had this happen to me. Dozens of trips and no issue. The last one... I forgot words, had difficulty expressing myself and kept making excuses that I was really tired etc.I spent time with a dictionary and thesaurus relearning words.
ReplyDeleteIt took six months before I felt like myself again. Scared the living bejezus out of me and I never did acid again. Now mushrooms on the other hand...
I have zero desire to see the world as Amanda Bynes sees it for 10 hours.
ReplyDeleteI suspect it's more than LSD : I've worked w people w drug induced A.B.I's. it's awful. Wet brained. At least what she does isn't exactly rocket surgery. And she has handlers. And mo drugs.
ReplyDeleteBack in the middle 90's did acid several times and never had a bad trip. I think her memory problem is too much pot, alcohol, molly and Xanax. I know Xanax makes my memory bad and that's not taking anything with it so I can imagine its worse when you mix in the other drugs she takes. I don't feel sorry for her bc she knows what she is doing and doesn't care about her fans or herself. She needs to retire and go back to her island.
ReplyDeleteLet's remember folks, personal anecdotes do not equal data.
ReplyDeleteIt's fairly obvious that not everyone reacts to LSD the same way, nor do people necessarily react the same way every time. Since it not exactly FDA regulated? You get whatever it is the chemist made, sometimes laced with whatever contaminants are intentionally or accidentally mixed in.
Thing with Rhi Rhi though is she's been an OD waiting to happen for years... So who knows what all she did or didn't take. Too bad it wasn't a wake up call for her.
