This barely out of her teens all movie actress is probably B list, but she is fairly anonymous about it. She just seems to mash in with all the others that are exactly her same age and all compete for the same roles. Her name is memorable and opens doors though. That is what makes her stand out. Anyway, she had a fling with an almost A list all movie co-star recently who is well over twice her age. She was madly in love with him. he just wanted the conquest because of what happened a couple of decades ago. Once he had taken her he never spoke to her again except while actually filming.
John Cusack/Emma Roberts
What a douche -- what happened a couple of decades ago?
ReplyDeleteMaybe he got pumped and dumped by Eric Roberts- her dad.
DeleteBitchy guys like this are so obnoxious
ReplyDeleteOh come on. So what happened a couple of decades ago? I can do without 'reveals' that just leave us hanging.
ReplyDeleteA true cad, I'm guessing he got dumped by Julia at some time.
ReplyDeleteDel- thats what i think too. Little miss emma has alot going on undercthe surface!! But it was douchy of cusack.
DeleteOuch. Douchebag.
ReplyDeleteIf true Del Riser, what a vindictive POS, and it makes him just as bad as Julia - worse even.
ReplyDeleteThey were in "Adult World" together, but so was Evan Peters. Must have been alot of sneaking around going on
ReplyDeleteI read it that he'd been with her aunt and wanted a second generation. Still a douche though.
ReplyDeletethis is like, reallllyyy creepy. i could never hook up with a crush's kid/niece/nephew/whatever. so gross.
ReplyDeleteAgree...guessing he was using the niece to get back at the auntie who prob dissed him. Douchey. Bad Lloyd Dobler. Bad.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm in the minority here but I think Emma is a really good actress, although not necessarily a good person.
ReplyDeleteDick move on Cusack's part, if this is true.
I think she's a good actress, too. I'm surprised at her behavior but what can you expect in Hollywood
DeleteCusak had so much promise at one point. He was kind of the male Winona Ryder of his generation - the actor who seemed to speak for people born around 1965. Both of them sort of blew it.
ReplyDelete@Nutty, yup.. I thought he was really cool, kind of a movie anti-establishment type, and ate his movies up. I hate when I find out things like this about someone I thought I liked.
ReplyDeleteCusack is not a nice guy, never has been and never will be, its just that he is sooo private, that many people dont see it. i find him to be very dark and shady
ReplyDeleteHe was in Americas Sweethearts with Julia Roberts. On set fling with her?
ReplyDeleteI think so.
DeleteCusack may be a dick, but he isn't the first or the last actor to have a 1 night stand with a costar. Emma has a lot of issues. Addiction runs on her family, and aunt Julia isn't a nice person either ( so I've read)
ReplyDeleteDid Emma kick his ass? That's the question I have.
ReplyDeleteAs my mother always says, "Movie stars? Why, they're just one step above circus people. Transient and immoral."
ReplyDeleteI like your mother.
DeleteClearly I'm a minority here, because I see nothing wrong with this. As long as Little Miss Famous-Last-Name was of age then she can chalk it up as a learning experience like the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteAnd seriously, who here HASN'T nailed the 18-yr-old son of her married lover just to spite him when she found out he really wasn't going to leave his wife? I know I can't be the only one.
Now that's funny! You make an excellent point. I find it hard to feel sorry for any of the Roberts. Maybe that's just my ice heart freezing over again.
Delete@ Tyger - not yet, but I'm sure I will in two years when his son is actually 18 & I finally realize he's not leaving.
DeleteWow, great analogy between Cusack and Ryder. That's exactly it. While I think Cusack is miles more talented than Ryder (who, let's face it, has been in some horrible stinkers), you're right: both were iconic 1980s actors who absolutely deep-sixed their careers through bad behavior.
ReplyDeleteOh well. I'll always have The Sure Thing, Cusack's best performance.
@Tyger Lilly You just made me laugh out loud! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhy does every chick on the receiving end of a simple fuck has to have issues ??!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAs long as no charges were filed. Get that pussy.
A few got this one right.
ReplyDeleteShe should have been more discerning. Charge it to the game, my love.
ReplyDelete@it took forever, That is what I have heard as well.
ReplyDeleteWhy is he the bad guy here? Yes he's got a reputation and she is young but I'm sure she knew about his reputation. If she was in love with him then she probably went after him.
ReplyDeleteYes John Cusack is a dick of epic proportions. Not saying necessarily in this situation, though not nice, I mean in just everyday life! He's an ass!! Just think of the douchiness that went around when he and his old bestie Jeremy Piven would get together.
ReplyDeleteEmma Roberts is NOT an all movie actress. Drake & Josh, Unfabulous, Family Guy, American Horror Story..... All TV series.
ReplyDeleteI have heard nothing but positive things about Johnny boy. He lived in my neighborhood for a long time and my neighbors, store owners, bartenders etc loved him..always called piven "his douchey childhood friend...as in we all have em..met his sister a few times as she shopped where I worked and thought she was great. Dont get the hate.
ReplyDeleteCant stand Cusack but love his sister Joan especially in Shameless.
ReplyDeleteOn the film I worked with Cusack on, he charmed the 19 year actress making her film debut for four weeks until she finally slept with him - then he ignored her. He also had her scenes moved up in the schedule so he could get rid of her sooner after spotting another young female extra. Just like Val Kilmer, Cusack only likes them young.
ReplyDeleteNice "revenge" Jon.....Classy
ReplyDelete"And seriously, who here HASN'T nailed the 18-yr-old son of her married lover just to spite him when she found out he really wasn't going to leave his wife? I know I can't be the only one."
ReplyDeleteLMAO...get it girl!
Whatever, it's not like he deflowered her. Emma's building her own misspent youth with or with Cusack.
ReplyDeleteWonder if it was Julia or Eric that made nailing the younger co-star that much more satisfying?
I'm just going to say it, John Cusack was brilliant in Hot Tub Machine.
ReplyDeleteAnother juicy reveal!
ReplyDeleteAwwww shame I always loved John.....sniff I'm too old for him anyways....
ReplyDeleteI used to adore JC, but I believe all of the stories about him. What an ass. (Although I don't know that I would compare him to Winona or say that he's "deep-sixed" his career. He's still pretty bankable and critically acclaimed, isn't he?)
ReplyDeleteAs long as she was an adult...whatever. She was a typical young girl, mistaking lust for being "madly in love." Rookie.
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for her. I know someone who worked closely with her early on, and she was a very sweet girl. She thought she wanted into the film business because she loved acting. She had no idea how messed up it was. Her dad thought all of his issues were due to his addiction problems and never really thought that his daughter would also encounter a lot of shit. He didn't have much to do with her upbringing, so thought she would be grounded and able to handle it. Unfortunately it seems she has his genes for addiction and trouble as well as for acting. I hope she gets help. p.s. I used to love JC, but think he is a dickbag. I believe the old gossip about him smelling armpits now.
ReplyDeleteMy husband waitered at a posh restaurant years ago often frequented by celebrities ands he said that John Cusak came by almost every night when he was in town for a movie festival. Mr. Mouse said he was a douche who wore the same t-shirt every night and went home with a different girl every night. Not surprised by this blind at all.
ReplyDeleteI echoed Roger Ebert re: John Cusack movies are always good - going to stop now. Watta douche, indeed.
ReplyDeletecompletely unacceptable, inexcusable, worse than douche behavior. Using a young girl to get back at her Father and or Aunt is sick and twisted. Will forever boycott his crap, not that I ever liked him anyways. Emotionally shallow, surface, cardboard acting.
ReplyDeleteHe was horrible in The Raven. I get him confused with Edward Norton.
