Blind Items Revealed

March 17, 2013

This A list mostly movie actor spent the better part of two years drunk and on pills. He said it was research. It was in  a way, but it was also an excuse for him to tune out his significant other and his child(ren) and the responsibilities which he has always hated. If it was up to him he would just live like his hero and people would come to him and pay their respects. When he was wasted for two years he actually told people that and they were fortunate to get to spend time with him and that they were seeing a living legend. Yeah, kind of like the Goopster except she rarely drinks, showers more and doesn't shoot off guns in the middle of houses.

Johnny Depp

Nothing but a mess? Are you fucking kidding me? Nothing? He was one of the most prolific writers and journalists of the 20th century and inspired a whole legion of writers. He affected pop culture immensely and tuned a whole new generation in to politics. Johnny Depp WISHES he had an ounce of Hunters talent. Instead he just monkeys his eccentric side. Regardless of Hunters demons, he was a far cry from " nothing but a mess " - I usually ignore your posts - but I draw the line at this utter ignorance.

Sandybrook Hunter S Thompson. The difference between JD and HST is Hunter WAS an interesting character, Johnny just plays one in movies.

  11. I have never seen the appeal and hero worship for this stinky weirdo. It is not a stretch for him to play weird burton characters or a drunk, stinky, egomaniac pirate. Other than that he has not done much.

  12. There have been stinky smokey BI's about him before. I knew it had to be something like this when Vanessa left him - they seemed happy for several years then off she went.

For some reason when I read "live like his hero" I wasn't thinking Thompson, the first visual that came to mind was crazy-ass Brando in Apocolypse Now. Of course this refers to Thompson, even Depp knows better than to think he's even in the same universe as Brando. I'd rather talk about Brando anyway.

  13. To think I used to crush on this currently sleazy guy when he was on 21 Jump Street. I find him gross and repulsive now. So he's trying to be a combination of HST and Keith Richards? ick just ick.

  14. Like @Tiger Lilly i immediately thought of Brando - and I am still pretty convinced he's the one hinted to as Johnny's hero. Come on, reading the blind, Depp comes off so self entitled and full of S#!t i am convinced he does not know better.

Shame though. I used to like his indy movies and his early work with Tim Burton...

  16. I was a big fan early in his career. Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon, Edward Scissorhands - great performances. Later his lack of hygiene and a sense that he was phoning in his performances turned me off completely.

  17. Depp has really lost his fan club recently. Since VIPBlonde has given us license to pat ourselves on the back, I'd like to point out that I said from the beginning The Lone Ranger would be a mega-bomb. Two unsympathetic main characters, terrible costuming, terrible trailer. Hope it doesn't take down the studio.

    1. I am shocked that an Armie Hammer project did not set records at the box office. How America didn't flock to see a dufus play hero Lone Ranger is a mystery.

VIP is much more entertaining than the current Entitties and a better writer to boot. I miss the old Enty. His sometime bitter Canadian replacement that rhyms with Axe is a hard pill to swallow.

  21. he's a legend in his own mind.

  22. It's the lack of maintaining his manicure that really destroys the awesomeness that is Johnny if you ask me.

  23. Johnny has the brain of a kid in the body of an unwashed man.

    Yuk.

  24. So, is the "shooting off guns in houses" a reveal for that blind a while back? Everyone guessed that he shot Kate Moss?

    ReplyDelete
  25. He was funny on 21 Jump Street, which I watched because I was bored.
    But...
He spouted his mouth off about how Midwesterners didn't have the brains to get that silly ass Hunter Thompson movie.
    That was one.

He said paps rape him with their cameras. WTF. Use another word, dumbass.
    That was two.

I can kick his bony ass. I'll bring Lysol.

  26. If you told me a few years ago that I would grow to dislike Johnny Depp I would not believe it.

  27. If Brando is his hero, Depp is following in his slovenly footprints.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Because none of us have ever said things pompous and stupid when we were high or drunk, right?

Sorry, I'm not drinking the Johnny Depp Haterade without more proof. This flies in the face of everything people have said about Johnny for years, people couldn't praise him enough.

  29. I can't stand JD - he's so pretentious with his faux British accent. Couple that with his lack of hygiene, it's enough to make me want to barf.

And not for nothing, but didn't he also defend Roman Polanski? That alone speaks volume about his character.

    ReplyDelete
  30. i find his relationship with tim burton very weird, i think something terrible is happening with those two.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yeah, his hero was Brando. He idolized him.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @surfer, I hate that about Depp (Polanski). So many actors support that rapist, it's insane.

    ReplyDelete
  33. VIP is bomb like that! No Enty there.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hunter isn't quite god, but I bet he whispers stuff in Lemmy's ear. Like when Zimmer was Torre's bench coach.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Haha, no surprise there! I've never been a Dipp fan. Even way back when he was on 21 Jump Street. He was always a douche who the media loved for some reason, and he wouldn't take a pay cut to do a small film. Even Clooney takes pay cuts to do good independent films. I'm so glad Dipp's epic crapfest bombed.

  36. It was more like 5+ years that he was popping pills and barely slurring all of the time. Ask any technical/art folks from his film sets.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't care. I like him. Stench, alleged douchey-ness and all.
