Today's Blind Items - Drunk With Groupies
This B list mostly television actor is on a very very hit cable show on a very hit cable network. He is also a huge mess. Our actor goes to conventions. Has to for his role. When he is at them, he has a tendency to drink. A lot. In one city his pr person had to carry our actor back to his hotel room. When he meets a fan at the conventions who is interesting, he will have sex with him. So far there has been a storage room and behind a 7-11. This past weekend he had sex with a girl who was black out drunk. She says that she doesn't even remember having sex with him or consenting to it. There are also reports that a minor got inside a bar he was in and he started making out with her until someone told him how old she was. Everyone says he needs rehab, but right now the show is more important so his handlers make him keep working and keep attending conventions.

ReplyDeleteWasn't Dinklage only movies before GoT? I really can't see him doing this, he's happily married with a very young child. OL not that that means anything in Hollywood! But still doesn't seem as if this is a characteristic of him.

Peter Dinklage only goes to a convention if he's forced to. Otherwise, he's in NY with his family and is a full time dad when not working.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not Dinklage. The guy lives in upstate NY with his family when he is not filming. I cannot imagine someone who makes a concerted effort to stay that far away from entertainment biz centers like LA and NYC is secretely having trysts at conventions. If this is Jon Snow, point me to the next GoT convention lol.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Norman Reedus. He does attend conventions all the time, he is currently filming Walking Dead season 4, and he must have to beat women off with a stick. Enty didn't say "pay" cable, and I'm guessing that "him" was a typo for "them."

May I chime in to add that Peter Dinklage would have NO WAY of remaining anonymous in a public place? There would be pictures/rumors in actual tabs/sites.

Since I watch GoT, I'm guessing the actor playing Jamie Lannister. Could be someone from a vampire show, which I don't watch.

ReplyDeleteI really think the "him" was just a typical Enty typo. No need to try to find someone we can see being bi. The way he describes this show as very very popular and that he has to go to conventions, I'm definitely thinking it's Walking Dead. That show is hugely popular and has a bigger audience since it's on a cable channel that most people don't pay extra for. Also, it's a comic book so lots and lots of conventions for this actor to go get drunk. I could see it being Norman or Andrew. They both have the exceptionally haggard look to them, even off screen.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering, Richard Madden/Robb Stark? But I don't know if he's been to cons lately, other then San Diego last summer and he's in a steady relationship with Dr. Who's Jenna Louise Coleman and I would think having a significant other would be mentioned in the blind.

Sam Trammell from "True Blood" does a lot of conventions - his wife recently had twins.

Skarsgard has been spotted drunk a lot, but the problem is he is spotted ALL THE FRIGGIN time because he has a huge fanbase (with some pretty craycray fans) and because he stands out in a crowd (supertall and all). If he is in a picture with a girl (fe Ellen Page right now) people freak out, so if he is spotted with one (black out drunk/underage/normal decent lady) the internetz would be going CRAZY right now. So because of that I doubt it's him. But he sure is a drinker.
ReplyDeleteDinklage simply doesn't seem like the type to me, I imagine him more of a family man.. And he would be photographed/tabloided immediately too, because he also stands out in a crowd because he is so short (not trying to be mean here)and is very married.
Norman Reedus is a good guess, he is single, and likes to drink. He is less likely to be recognized compared to Skars/Dinklage. But I hope it isn't him, he seems like a nice dude and I love him (meeeeeeeh!).
Not Peter Dinklage. He's married, and has been seen by friends around Hoboken, NJ...and not drunk.

What about Dexter/MCH? He has to do Comic-Con and crap like that and since his show is starting soon, unlike GoT which just ended, it would seem to me he has to do more especially since it's the last season. Him or someone from True Blood make the most sense to me.
Alfie Allen (Theon Grejoy) from GOT was in my hometown hanging with some of my pals. He was a druken drugged up jerk. Could imagine it being him. He was very full of himself.

ReplyDeleteWould a MINOR be trying to put the moves on Dinkalge, though? It seems like those interested are at least in their 20's, and I know a lot of older women who think he's attractive. Norman definitely has more mass appeal, given the character he plays, his Boondock Saints fame, accent, etc. I also saw him speak in Philly and I know that he went out drinking with some of the 21+ college kids there.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Peter. I really, really do. I know he's working a lot right now - doing a few roles, so the "working" part fits, and the carrying part. But I JUST saw photos of him and his wife with their child from this weekend...
I'm pretty sure Peter Dinklage's kid was born on his birthday. Doubtful he'd party up his birthday it's both his birthday and his daughter's.

ReplyDeleteI have met him numerous times - at conventions and here in NYC. He is an extremely private person. Yes, he hangs out with fans at conventions & has a drink or two with them, but I have never known him to hook up with any. He doesn't do this as much as he did before because of a few incidents, but I'm not going in to them here.
Also, the whole "he has to for his role" - Norman has been attending conventions LONG before he was on The Walking Dead - he attends them for Boondock Saints as well.
That said, I have no clue.
Skars isn't just mainly TV anymore, also he hasn't done any conventions recently and has been working flat out promoting movies and now True Blood, he is a drinker though but I get the impression he can handle it.....If it is someone from TB I'd go with Joe M, dude thinks he is God's gift to women!

Absolutely not Reedus. I'm acquainted with his con handler/manager guy. He's a pro, so is Reedus, and that kind of nonsense hurts the bottom line. Reedus brings in the women like you would NOT believe...but he's wise enough to flirt -just- enough with all of them to make them all feel special without 'sampling'.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the sunglasses at the con? That's for a very simple reason: how many photographs have you taken in one day? Multiply that by several hundred, and that's the average con day for someone like Reedus. Those flashes suck...you'll find a LOT of the major con guests wearing those things if they have any sort of light sensitivity.
If you want drunk at a con, try Costas Mandylor. Last time I saw him at a con, he was engaging in a drinking contest with the -entire bar- in the lobby of a hotel. When I left, he was -winning-. (Those Australians and their booze, man.)
Oh, and one more thing: MOST of the cast of Walking Dead do cons. That should open the guessing up a bit.
