"The Hills" Is Coming Back For One Night

On August 9th, MTV is bringing back The Hills. For one night only there will be an episode that has never aired. Apparently there is an alternate ending to season 6 because in reality there are always alternate endings. I didn't actually get that parking ticket yesterday, but managed to arrive back at the family minivan 15 minutes earlier and avoid the ticket. After three years, there is going to be a new episode which means that everyone will have to be interviewed about ti which means there will be press given to people who I would prefer only continue to get press in the UK where they are beloved and treasured. All of the cast will be in our life again for a few weeks. Audrina will try and resurrect her career. Some of the people on the show will sell their souls for one more minute of fame. It will be just like 2010 all over again.

  5. In what universe does a multiply-divorced entertainment-law attorney who lives his parents' basement drive a "family minivan"?

  6. I liked it the best when The Soup made everyone explode!

  7. B., it's a joke about alternate endings. Like the person reading it is a minivan driver. (Tho I'd bet bacon donuts the person writing it IS a minivan driver.) Do you really believe the Enty persona is for reals? Enty is like the Courtney Stodden of gossip blogs.

  8. I love a Hills marathon on a rainy weekend afternoon. I hope they do a Laguna lead in. I wish I was kidding. Lol

  9. I remember falling in love with Audrina during that spectacular "showdown" with Lo, when Audrina twirled her hair and mumbled and finally interrupted Lo to say, "I don't care. We're never going to be friends." I relive that moment sometimes when I'm with difficult or stupid people, and I cling to Audrina's dignity and vapid nonchalance for strength. I was so sad to see her trainwreck of a family and her failure to launch as a celeb. Now she's, what, working in a car wash somewhere? Oh, Audrina, I loved you and I still do!

  14. Hello, Edward. Well, I’ve gotta fire you. Bing, bong, bong. You're fired, Ed. Oh! Great Odin's raven! Veronica. She put that in the Teleprompter!

  15. Ed, let's hold on. Let's count to 10, alright? That's a rash decision. Is this about something else?

  16. Garth, I... Garth, if I were to give you money out of my wallet, would that ease the pain?

  17. I can't believe you did this to me! Are you happy? But it's not. I have nothing left! Nothing! I've been reduced to rubble!

  18. Don't you know I would never say the word fuck? I would never fucking ever fucking say that! Ever! I'm sorry. Don't you know I would never say fuck? Fuck! No! No! Please, I...

  19. No! Ron Burgundy, stay classy. Hello, this is Ron. Hello. Who's there? I'm talking. Hello. Who is this? Baxter, is that you?

  20. Baxter! Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the courage to say something. Hello! Hello!

  21. If only there were still unaired episodes of Laguna beach. I miss trey's trucker hats.

  22. Iceberg, I think Audrina was just trashy in the wrong ways. Also, I forgot about the ceiling eyes thing. I wonder if I'm captivated by her simply because she won't look at me.

  23. Ugh..This was one of the worst "fake" reality shows ever. I know people love it and I won't throw shade but why do we want to see these vapid people even one more time? No to Speidi, not to Lo, just no no no.

    Can't wait to see it!

  25. That show was the stupidest waste of airtime and the people who watched it are superficial self-absorbed morons. That being said, I got hooked on it around the middle of Season 3 during a marathon, got caught up on the previous seasons then never missed (and DVR'd) every episode until the final one.

Speaking of the final episode, didn't they sort of ruin it for anything else when they revealed in the last scene that it was all fake? Didn't it have Kristen and Brody (?) walk off into the sunset, then you see it's all just a Hollywood set? Am I wrong?

  26. I bet Heidi and Spencer are giddy with excitement. They are plotting every moment of air time and interviews available to them!
