Is it just me, or is anyone else gettin annoyed at the misuse of "canoodle"?

I hate that word. We should strike it from the English language.

DeleteMoist! Oh my goodness. My partner and I use that word to be deliberately gross. That's not TMI 'cause I mean when baking etc, but with extra emphasis on the enunciation. I hate it and he loves it. To me it ranks with 'speculum' as words that make me shudder.

ReplyDeleteThank you! After my precious pug Madelyn (seen in my avatar) passed away a few months ago, I felt so blessed when these little angels came into my life. They're sisters and when they're not wrestling and making demonic noises, they're cuddling. Very cute!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. Actually the rescue organization saved their lives by pulling all 5 babies and their mother from a shelter that was going to put down all the puppies. The mother was dumped at the shelter 3 days before giving birth by someone claiming not to know who she was. Happy to report all puppies and mom found their forever homes! As I watch them chewing on their kings I feel blessed to have found them! :)
