No More Leg Drops At Billboard Awards

Miguel is learning the hard way what happens when you decide to involve the audience with one of your stage stunts. Miguel tried to leap from one stage to the next and ended up landing on a woman's head. Her attorney says she has brain damage. It would not shock me if she did, because she ended up taking a really hard hit for which she was not expecting or prepared. Although the producers of the awards show have not said anything, I'm pretty sure that next year everyone will be forced to stand completely still while performing.

  2. Really sad for the woman.

  3. I was very curious as to why he didn't stop & say anything, or even acknowledge that SOMETHING happened during the performance. All I can think of is that he was lip-syncing & thought the fallout from that would be worse than anything else.

  4. He could have broken her neck doing that. I don't blame her for suing.

  5. I hope she's okay. That was terrible.

  6. They didn't even get her proper medical attention just an ice bag for her neck. Glad she got a lawyer. I was in a car accident and at first I felt fine the adrenaline and shock blocked any back pain. A few hours later I couldn't walk. I have a pinched disk now.

    It was stupid and negligent.

  8. The media and Miguel have only spoken about khyati but what about the other girl that got the foot in the face that was holding and covering her face before being moved by the other people in the pit. No one has mentioned her name or her injuries. Is she embarrassed and wants to lay low or was she not injured.

  9. The first thing that should have been done was take both of them to the hospital to get checked out. Billboard deserves what they get after being so neglectful in this situation.

  11. I don't believe in frivolous lawsuits but this OBVIOUSLY isn't one. What the hell was he thinking?!?! GET YOUR MONEY GIRL!

  12. That stunt is a very good example of reckless endangerment. I hope she sues the sculpted eyebrows off that twit for his irresponsibility.

  13. He is well known for trying moves that are not suitable for his skill level. Why can't he be like Mariah or Luther and graciously accept the talents that God has given him and recognize his limits?

Not the first time for Miguel

What an utter moron - but surely the organisers would have cleared it under health & safety?

  15. Hopefully she's primarily suing Billboard. You aren't guaranteed safety in a damn mosh pit, this was an accident. She absolutely should have received proper medical treatment, as well as the other girl who isn't trying for her 15 minutes yet.

  17. Does anyone remember back in the 90's when Nirvana performed on the MTV Music Awards and there was a lone stage diver who jumped and everyone just watched him hit the floor?
