Michael Madsen Ordered To Rehab

A judge in Los Angeles ordered Michael Madsen to rehab for 30 days. I'm not sure that is long enough. He needs a good 90 days to try and get him better. The order comes as a result of Michael's arrest in September for DUI. After his arrest, he was supposed to go to AA meetings. He didn't, so his probation was revoked. The judge said Michael has a severe drinking problem and ordered him to enter a live in rehab facility for 30 days. When Michael was in court,he had a black eye. This guy had such promise as an actor and booze just got the best of him.

  1. Thirty sixty or ninety days isn't gonna help someone with his lifelong history--because once hes out he 'll be right back at it.

  3. Let's hope he rehabs and lives enough to make another movie(s) with Tarantino, with whom he is best.

He's such a great villain! There's still time for him, be could still get it together. The sad thing is this headline could be from the 80's, 90's or now.

  8. auntlikky, were you in Michael's liquor cabinet while he was in court?

I always got the impression that he was one of those actors who began to believe he was an untouchable bad ass in real life (like Tom Sizemore and to a much larger degree Steven Seagal).

  10. God, I used to love him. Remember what he looked like in Thelma and Louise! So hot.

And he was walking sex in Reservior Dogs. I get giddy when I hear "stuck in the middle with you" on the radio!

  11. I dunno, it seems kind of worthless to force a person to enter rehab if they don't want it or are ready. The point of rehab is to get better, and you have to want that.
