Justin Bieber Hits A Pap - It's OK Though Because The Pap Was In The Street

Late last night while you were snoozing away and dreaming of bacon covered candy, Justin Bieber was leaving the Laugh Factory. He goes there because it is one of the few clubs he can get into and he likes to look cool when he is pulling up for the ladies. Anyway, after the show he got into his car and he hit a pap. The pap was doing one of those stand in front of the cars so I can get a photo through the windshield because your side windows are so tinted it is like a blackout curtain at a hotel. Well, Justin says he never saw the pap. You know, because the flash was not going off a million times and hit the guy. The guy was not seriously hurt, but did call the cops who were going to charge Justin with hit and run. Then, after talking to Justin and his people and getting free tickets and autographs, they decided not to charge Justin because, the pap was at fault for being a "pedestrian in the roadway." So, cars have the right of way now? Apparently if you are standing in front of a car, it's ok to go ahead and hit you so I can drive down the road.

  1. This headline is misleading, i thought you meant with his fist.

  2. Let us pray that he & Lilo take only each other out, in some magical accident that America will decide is 'Gods plan'.

(Sorry, but I shudder to think of the innocent folks who are going to be killed b/c the cops won't punish famous people. GRRR)

  3. Will he fade into obscurity already?

  4. Not many grownups like Bieber but this post is just stupidly ignorant.

  5. No, Enty - he's not at fault because simple COMMON SENSE dictates you don't stand in the street near a car ready to go.

I hate this little douche but it is not his fault. Paps have no business blocking cars and creating unsafe driving situations, and that's what happened here. The pap is responsible.

  6. Is he wearing a onesie? How cute!

  7. Purposely standing in front of a moving car while hundreds of flashes are going off in the driver's face is just asking to be hit...sorry, no sympathy for the Pap in this situation.

I've watched a few of those videos where celebs are trying to get into their car and drive away at night with the flashes going off, I have no idea how they can see, I'd be seriously blinded.

    1. I've watched those videos and I'm surprised there aren't more paps mowed down. Makes for a great lawsuit if they survive. If those guys were all over my car while I was trying to get out of Wal Mart I'd probably run over a few too.

  8. I WAS dreaming of bacon candy! Real opportunity missed here. Paps need boundaries too.

  9. Appalling as this is, it certainly isn't surprising. It's been painfully obvious for quite some time that celebrities in Los Angeles get far different treatment from law enforcement and the courts than that meted out to ordinary mortals.

  10. If you watch the video on TMZ, the photographer deserved it. JB is inching along in his car, clearly blinded by the flashes, trying to get away from the club. The paps are told repeatedly by security to get out of the way. The one who was "hit" ignored all the warnings.

I'm pretty sure pedestrians don't have the right to stand in the street and stop a car from moving forward by blinding the driver with flash bulbs.

But why oh why won't they just hire a driver?

  11. Nobody likes paps, but this kid needs a driver like Jamie said, and definitely NOT any encouragement from the cops. He's been a menace.

  12. Libby, I've read enough about Beebs speeding around to agree that he shouldn't be driving, but in this case, I don't see him doing anything wrong on the video.

The photog looks like he got glanced by the car mirror at about 5MPH, and then did a fall worthy of a soccer player.

  13. That's why I agreed with you he needs a driver, Jamie. As long as he has paps stalking him, that would indicate he could afford one.

  14. I am the last person to defend Beaver.

But, I do not feel bad for those people that get run over for standing/walking in front of a car.

  15. I would hope that Beiber gets Tupaced, but I'd rather he catch a few beatings before someone airholes him.

  19. Friggen pap & Enty making me defend that little shiat head!

If you play in the street you're bound to get run over. Just because you're a pedestrian doesn't give you the right to stand in the street. The paps are scum. They will do ANYTHING to get a picture. They will do ANYTHING to get a rise out of a celeb. This isn't a case like Lilo where the cops are showing favored treatment for a celeb. (I really hate myself right now for defending that toddler)

Special treatment is Lilo getting chance after chance when she has CLEARLY broken the law. Any other person and they'd have been jailed a long time ago. That's preferential treatment. Not grazing someone standing in the middle of the street. Trying to block the exit of someone so they could get a picture of them.

Thank you Enty & the pap I feel very dirty now & not in a fun way. :/

  20. And what is he wearing? It looks like a dress in that picture. Seriously. Poor kid is NEVER gonna look like an adult.

  21. Gah Enty, you are making me defend Diaper Boy..

I am giving the saggy one a pass on this. People who willingly stand in front of a car trying to take a picture, kinda deserve to get 'bumped'.

  22. Even if Bieber had hit that pap on purpose and then backed over him three times the outcome would have been the same, he will never get punished for anything he does because he is so famous. Ugh, why can't he fade into obscurity already.

Also, a bodysuit, pink shoes, and chains? The hell?

  23. Go look at the TMZ video before commenting.

The pap is obviously in the wrong.

Funny how Lil Wayne's video got posted, but not this one. Enty's trying to make a point about what a jerk Bieber is, but this one's not his fault.

Granted, he's probably a dick for many other things, but gotta look at the facts.

  24. I work for the company where the pap does as well. i know him very well and he's actually a really nice person. he got pinned between a parked car and justin's car. i was called into work at 130 and left at 330am after having a work day and doing a stand up comedy show then having to go back to work. i think that it's so dumb of them to block the car like that. i really don't condone working for a pap agency but it pays my bills. i'm also only an editor not a pap but you have to know that a lot of these fucking celebs call us. A LOT we trail some but valets call us, shopkeepers. i can't fucking stand most of the photos i edit. HELLO KARDASHIANS! but blame the people buying the magazines and justin beiber is a fucking prick. i know first hand the shit that he has done.

  25. I'm a photographer -- not a pap photographer, but other stuff. I'm kind of bad about wandering into the street when I'm shooting things, but even then, I watch out and make sure no cars are coming!

Sometimes though, I wonder if the paps do things like this intentionally to get a rise out of their subject. Pic of Bieber getting into a car and driving off pays a dollar; pic of Bieber running over some dude and driving off, that's a million-dollar shot!
