Most of the time, celebrities are not shy about being seen with their significant others in public. It gives them a little boost of publicity and two celebrities make a better story than one. There are exceptions. Janet Jackson has never met anyone she would like to share and I'm not sure how The Goopster and Chris Martin ever had children considering they never seem to be in the same room at the same time. Jessica Chastain though gave the best answer ever to as why she does not really show off her boyfriend in public or talk about him. "What if he turns out to be an a-hole? Do I want to see photos of him with me on the red carpet forever on the internet?" Good one. Well played Jessica.

ReplyDeleteI've always wondered why some celebs go to extremes not to be phtographed together. Like Gwenyth (wow, can't believe I actually referred to her by her given name) and Chris Martin, Ryan Reynolds and ScarJo/Blake Lively. We know you're married, guys! The jig is up!
ReplyDeleteI can get it if you're at a premiere and don't want to take away the attention of whichever is being "celebrated" but when you start taking separate exits and routes to places just so you won't be papped together? I don't get that at all, perhaps one of you guys has a theory?
And I mean married celebs with kids, I totally understand where Jessica Chastain is coming from with her boyfriend sitch.
