Can't Hardly Wait - June 12, 1988
I can't believe it has been 15 years since this movie has been released. If you have never seen it, everyone who stars in it or appears in it with a speaking role seems to have gone on to greater things.

ReplyDelete1998.. I freaked out a little there, I'm getting old
ReplyDelete1998!!! Not 88!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent movie. The ending was a little too sappy, the idea of people finding "true love" in high school fairly preposterous, but other than those things it was great.
ReplyDeleteHow bizarre, I just rewatched this two days ago. It doesn't hold up too well but it's definitely still funny and more in keeping with the 80s films.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm guessing that's an Enty typo? It definitely wasn't out in '88.
Oh how I loved Ethan Embry. But loving Amanda (JLH)..remember laughing at that tjought...she is so "uncool". Whiny, snivler.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen all grown up Ethan? He's definitely aged.
DeleteOh yes...too bad about the sailor tats....but he cleans up nice!.guess I still like Dobbie... (Dutch, Reference)
DeleteI'll kick everyone's ass in this room!!!! One of my faves!!! Love Ethan Embry
ReplyDeleteOmg everyone ever is in this movie, I love it!
ReplyDeleteNever saw it...was too busy enjoying my late 20's.
ReplyDeleteI have always said I don't care how many vampires, doctors, or vampire doctors Peter Facinelli plays, he will always be Mike Dexter to me.
ReplyDeleteUh, huh?
ReplyDelete:-O
1988 was 25 years ago, not 15. Thnks for cutting ten years off all our ages, though. I love being 29 again!
epicness
ReplyDelete1998, not 1988.
ReplyDeleteEthan Embry. **SWOON**
ReplyDeleteThis was the first movie I went to see with out adult supervision. I was 9 years old! Was also psyched to see they filmed at Johnny's Broiler (now bobs big boys) bc I lived in Downey for a while.
ReplyDeleteHaven't been able to trust Enty's movie recommendations since he came on here pimping a - cough, cough - Dax Shephard film a while back. And I mean that was as bad a film as has ever been made!
ReplyDeleteloved this movie when I was a kid and always will :)
ReplyDeleteAw memories...I remember seeing this in the theater right after 8th grade graduation.
ReplyDeletePretty much everyone in my grade was in the theater and I somehow ended up sitting next to my crush (who barely knew I existed). Good times!
