With Annie back on Broadway, the momentum for the remake of the movie is going into warp speed and all that was left to be decided was who was going to play Miss Hannigan. Quvenzhane Wallis is playing Annie and Jamie Foxx is playing Daddy Warbucks. The part was offered to Sandra Bullock first but she said no. I could see her doing it and I would have thought she would want a kid friendly role, but I also don't think she really wanted to have to sing for the next six months. So, the next choice was Cameron Diaz who is also a good choice, but it also seems like it is no different from her role in Bad Teacher. I was hoping the producers might look to Broadway and snag Jane Lynch who is currently playing Miss Hannigan there. She would be great and add a little something more to the role than Cameron would.

After living with the Nazi, Miss Congeniality probably wants nothing to do with hags and rags, but Cameron Diaz reportedly doesn't mind.
