Blind Item #6

These two B- list mostly television actresses from a very hit network show which seems like it has been on forever and has spawned some spinoffs can't stand each other. They hate each other. The one who is probably a bigger star because of her longer television and movie track record in some good things was hit on by the husband of the not as famous B- lister. The more famous one blew the husband off and then told the married B- actress what happened. The married actress blamed the other actress and said her husband would never do that. Umm, there about a million waitresses around town who would disagree.

  1. Sandra Oh & Ellen Pompeo.

  2. I want to say David Arquette since he was outed for banging waitresses & barmaids, so maybe Cox & Aniston which is why they're no longer friends. I can't remember if Enty considers Aniston is A list.

I like the Oh & Pompeo guess but Oh isn't married. Pompeo is but in the blind it sounds like Pompeo would've been the one hit on.

  3. I think the blind makes it sound like Oh was getting hit on. Oh has had much more success than Pompeo. Oh was in Sideways and was married to a very famous screenwriter who put her in a lot of his work. Oh also has a Golden Globe and some SAG awards.

On a side note, I think Oh is a wonderful actress and deserved those parts, but wanted to add they were married so nobody would say she got the parts for the obvious reason.

  4. Bobby Flay's wife, Stephanie March, for the lower B lister and someone else - maybe Angie Harmon or Mariska Hagarty- from Law & Order. Though the original L&O isn't on anymore - just SVU.

  5. Lori FTW with March, Flay and Hargitay. Harmon was never on SVU. Flay and JJ were rumored to have bumped uglies.

  6. March would be my second fave ADA, after Casey Novak. I'd do Angela from Who's the Boss just to get at Novak. That is sayin something, cause at this point she's probably as attractive naked as Munch is.

  7. Sandra Oh and Ellen Pompeo was my first thought, too. Despite being the titular star Pompeo's resume is nothing like Oh's.

Sandra Oh has been in several movies like Under the Tuscan Sun, Blindness, Hard Candy, Sideways as was mentioned (Alexander Payne was her then-husband). She was hilarious in The Princess Diaries.

Oh and Pompeo fit as far as I'm concerned.

  9. Oh and Pompeo, with Oh being the bigger star. She has a nice trackrecord and is a good actress, unlike Pompeo imo, in Grey she is cringe-worhty sometimes..

  10. I think it's the CSI guess. That's the series that has the most spinoffs.

  11. Well, this is one of the many blinds where my lack of tv viewing has put me at a gross disadvantage.

  12. There aren't that many network shows on tv that have spawned not just one but "some" spin-offs (implies more than one and Grey's Anatomy only has one). It has to be something like a franchise show like Law & Order, NCIS, or CSI. I would think Law & Order which literally seems like it's been around forever; I still remember when CSI started and NCIS is just a few seasons old. Don't watch any of these so that's all I got.

  13. I think Oh and Pompeo fit, but isn't there only one spinoff of grey's anatomy? This says spinoffs & I wonder if that's a clue?

  14. I like the March/Flay guess, just because of the waitresses clue at the end and the plural spinoffs, because we all know Law & Order has/had several. I doubt it was Hargitay, she seems a genuinely good person and I think because of that Flay wouldn't even bother to approach her. He has been known to stray, and I'd bet my last dollar he was tappin January Jones when she had that accident, and possibly still is. Which sucks, because I kinda like him. Hopefully this is one of the fake blinds.

  15. If it's Oh and Pompeo, what spinoffs did that show produce. I don't know of any.

I think this is CSI type show.

  16. I agree that Oh and Pompeo were the first ones I thought of, but the blind clearly said spin offS. It's got to be either L&O or CSI. Beyond that, I am useless.

  17. Someone would either marry or hit on Sandra Oh? How desperate does a person have to be to hit on that flat faced pug?

  18. On second read, I say this has to be actresses from CSI. The blind says that the show seems like it has been on forever, implying that it is still on the air--Law & Order, which is the franchise that spawned SVU and Criminal Intent, has been off the air for a while. I haven't watched CSI in years and don't know the current cast, but I am guessing Elisabeth Shue was hit on by somebody's husband.

  19. @NaughtyNurse, I was thinking L&O as well. How many CSI shows are there now? The last one i watched had Gary Sinise and Melina Kanakaredes.
@RowdyRodimus, doubtful Sandra Oh would bang you either, you've no worries on that front. Her IQ is larger than your last month's paystub.

  20. CSI had 3 shows, Grey's had Private Practice (I watched neither) NCIS has Los Angeles as a spinoff, Law and Order has so many, I've no idea.

NCIS is a spinoff of JAG

  22. Private Practice was a spin off of Grey's.

  23. @River I'll put my IQ test results up against yours and Ms. Oh's. We can even combine the two and I'll still probably have you beat.

I've no doubt her IQ is larger than my pay stub as I don't receive a pay stub. You have me there. Aren't you such a smart cookie. I'll bet your daddy said you were the best kisser, too.

After you look up some of the big words I used, take the rest of the day off and finish your copy of "Green Eggs and Ham". You've earned it.

  24. @Rowdy, I'm not at all surprised you don't receive a paystub. Considering the "big" word you used was "probably," I'd wager "Green Eggs and Ham" is still your favourite book to read while standing in the unemployment line. (Unemployment is what you receive when you don't work. Just in case that word is too big for you.) Piss off, you whining little racist. (A racist is someone who makes remarks about other people's ethnicity (ethnicity is someone's race), like calling someone who is Asian "pug-faced." I don't know if the word racist is in your Children's Book of Big Words.)
