This B list mostly television actress at this point has been in this space many times before. This past week she told a friend that she can't stop drinking because she keeps reliving some past abuse that happened to her as a teen and it is the reason she seeks out married men and men who she knows will be abusive to her. She says she has been in pain for 20 years and does not know a way out.

ReplyDeleteIf any ladies out there feel the need to be abused, in a controlled environment, with boundaries and safe words and what not, please contact me. My rates are reasonable in the NJ tri state area. Outside of that area, some travel fees may apply.
ReplyDeletePlease don't allow yourself to be in an abusive relationship, when all the abuse you could ever want is an email away. Then, when you have satisfied your desire for abuse, you can return to the loving environment you really need.

ReplyDelete@Orpheus - Nigella Lawson is a cook, not an actress. Her previous marriage was to John Diamond, a journalist who died of cancer, and it seems to have been very happy.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have a reputation for affairs or as a booze hound, so I don't think it's her.
Her late mother was bipolar and although Nigella says she was abused I don't think it was what most people would see as traumatic childhood abuse, i.e., being told to shut up and keep quiet by your mother.
So abuse is a perfectly ok excuse for having affairs with married men? Please! What crap.

Shame on whoever this is using something truly heinous, that has really happened to women as an excuse for just being a bitch to other women. NOT excusing the men at all either. They are more to blame.

ReplyDeleteNigella had a wonderful marriage to her first husband that ended sadly. He adored/worshiped her. His passing was only 11 years ago.

To insult New Jersey and all that are from that state is truly uncalled for. If you are attempting to receive attention, try a bit of kindness and please realize your superiority complex is unmerited and wearing one's patience rather thin.
@Rowan: It is pointless. Dewie doesn't come back to read comments after she attempts to needle me. I guess she can't help but let ignorance flow from her finger tips, but she can resist the urge to see how bad she got OWNED once again. The desire for denial is strong in this one.

The only reasons to make fun of Jersey are Jersey Girl and Chris Christie. Maybe newer Bon Jovi stuff, too.
